The original Highlander is an cheesy 80s classic, with one of the best 80s soundtracks, and an awesome villain.

A remake won't have the soundtrack, or Clancy Brown, or Connery totally not giving a flying F about his scottish accent, so it can't be in any way comparable. OTOH, Ryan Reynolds (or pretty much anyone) would almost certainly be a step up in acting from Christopher Lambert.

Should be no one. Sweet baby Jebus, strike down the heretics who would remake Highlander with explosive diarhea until they rethink the error of their ways.

Highlander wasn't a great film, but it was iconic. Plus Sean Connery and Queen, come on you can't remake the magic.

Seriously get some new plots already.
