This looks well! Nice one, for an eary stage it looks fantastic, maybe add a touch more red in your next few trials?

Bomb template looks great. I think the other flames could use a little bit of layering different colors sort of like you have done with the blast template. I would suggest laying down red the orange underneath the yellow. should add some depth and defenition to the flames.

Ok, I will add more red orange. I actually do layer those colors in that order. Ill make them heavier. Thanks Man.

The problem with this example is that the color of the flames are the same throughout the entire piece. There should be a much more definitive difference in tone, especially in the red. The orange tone is always consistent in a fire, but the red changes in opacity and brightness significantly across the flame's length. So in other words, the orange should be part of the entire piece, and the reds should be made more distinct.

I guarantee you that I'm not really as smart as the test says:

That was the route I went with on the bomb template, making the red more obvious.
