I checked on Wamp, and although I found the thread for the contest (I think) I couldn't find any pictures of any minis that were in it. To be honest though, I was completely lost, since the layout of most forums confuses the heck out of me. I'm really just hair's breadth this side of Amish. I'll keep checking though!

you will have compitition... a girl i kind of know (shes the current best painter in the Netherlands/Fleming) is doing the same miniature with the same transparency. and your base is far more impressive, but her painting (except for the face) might be better then yours...

I'm not sure I know that one? Do you remember the year by any chance? It kinda rings a bell somewhere in my fungus-addled orky brain...

It would make a refreshing change to check out this effect on something distinctly... less attractive. Although the ogre probably has bigger boobs.

This is fantastic the way you have made the parts that cling to her body more transparent with gradual opaqueness as with the fabric further away looks fantastic and does a great job of accentuating the body of the sculpt.

I would love to be able to paint that good one day.

This is absolutely beautiful. Probably my favourite model that I have seen. Will also be picking up some of the minatures from Dark Sword in the near future I think.

My only complaint, and it is half compliment as well, is that the pictures are not big enough. Minis look fantastic as always but I always feel that master painters should always show their work high-res, especially if they are selling services as we all know things can fall apart rapidly if you zoom in.

Not saying that is the case here, your CMON gallery which I have been following for some time speaks for itself, but at the same time, go bigger on the pics so we can truly take in the detail and skill!

This is some really damn high quality painting! Very very, very very VERY nice job! I surely hope you win, it'll be deserved!
