First yellow I can accept, but the problem is that if you call a game hard from the beginning then it leaves you committed to keep on calling like that.

The second yellow seems a bit over the top, but I have no idea what it looked like from where the ref was standing.

Third yellow was a card for dissent, but you should not give them this much to dissent about.

Third yellow I agree with, it was the first 2 that I question, the first was a perfectly fine tackle IMO and the second wasn't worth a booking either, a foul yes but not worthy of a yellow.

Well I'm decidedly unimpressed with that. Bring on the Russia-Czech game! Hopefully that should provide more entertainment.

The two reds and saved penalty were a little bit of fun, not much, just a little.

Haven seen that refs recent history it wasn't really a surprise, he apparently can't let a game flow and loves handing out cards

Eriksen is a good player, but the Dutch have far more, far better players. 4:1 to the Orange
Germany Portugal I see being much closer. 3:2 to ze Germans.

Looking ahead to England's fixtures I'm starting to see why people are pessimistic about their chances. If you go by stature then it will likely be either Spain or Italy awaiting in the knockout phase.
