All I will say to the likes of d-usa and every other German fan is that Germany are breathing a sigh of relief that England are out. Otherwise, they would have been humiliated. Germany that is, not England

I was rooting for England and Germany in the elimination games, but now i'm rooting for Germany all the way!
I think that they can win. I would prefer not to see Portugal win. No offense i just don't like the team.

The officiating has been terrible.
I like watching the highlights, but the games themselves are way too long and nothing really happens except for people just running around.
Also there have been 5 different tied games? Games should not be tied, there should be overtime until one team wins.

Ties only happen in group games, so no problem there. Overtime & penalty kicks in elimination matches.

I remember hearing Sean Wheelock say that draws really piss off Americans because of their "cultural" need for a winner and a loser.

Haha right.. I remember a big American chap telling me during the last World Cup, in his Texan drawl, "I hope every game is boring and a 0-0 score, that way people can forget about this crap and go back to watching real sports."
I love the NFL, motorsports, athletics, tennis, all that kind of stuff. Usually haven't got much time for football (to me, its a mix of WWF with a sport because of all the acting/diving that goes on) but the international games are great.

Sure...
Were all exicted that all teams are from the continent now, the place where they know where the ball belongs into.
( disclaimer: they all know, but not all manage to do this )
I actually hope it gets a bit more offensive and the games are settled in 90 minutes.

So here we are, the semi-final stage. For these players, this is a once in a lifetime chance. Immortality is 90mins away.
My prediction for tonight is for Spain to lose their crown.

While I appreciate the sentiment, nah... we will get stomped.
But it should be a decent game at least.

I have a piece of paper that says £20 on for Portugal to beat Spain. This piece of paper has a barcode and a promise of lots of money if Portugal win, so they'd better win!!!

So another 120 min...
Can't score in 90 min, maybe it should be upgraded to 180 as 120 doesn't cut it....

Pretty good game for a 0-0 match. Close, but IMO Spain deserved to go through based on what they've done earlier in the tournament.

We played well enough on the first half, I even allowed myself a glimmer of hope. But after the first 45 mins, it was all Spain, they deserved to go through.
As for Ronaldo not taking his penalty kick earlier: that is the coach's call, not his!
