Wait, the Deathmark ruling goes against which FAQ now?

Sorry, poor wording on my part.

The Deathmark FAQ implies there's two units in one -because Deathmarks mark a unit, not a model.
The FAQ implies two units as there's two KP.
Tyranid Primes are said (in YMDC) to not be allowed to Outflank using Hive Commander (by attaching to a troop unit). Implies two units - if it was just the one Troop unit, they could outflank.
The semi-recent SoB argument about a faith power - was said to be one unit, IC loses unitness.
This thread - one unit, IC loses unitness.

But then how can an ability that targets a unit target an IC that is attached to a unit without explicit permission if there is only one unit to target?
Do you see the inconsistencies I'm talking about?
