In all seriousness I do not believe anyone other than the louts at GW know the official release. the NEW GW Policy of top secret James bond info for releases is a weird way to drum up support for the biigest event to happen to its primary product for the last 4 years. Alas... We will all buy it when it comes out so the date is irrelevant really.

After playing so many editions, I no longer care. I can read the forums for changes, and then buy the new starter set rulebook when it's available for $30, or the whole set if it has models I want.

It be great if GW actually promoted it as a midnight release of 6th edition. Instead of the half-assed "I got a secret and cant tell anyone" way they hold information back.

Its like Bizzard holding back release date of diablo 3 but having a midnight release and not telling anyone.

If there is a way for GW to bugger it up, rest assured they will find that single way and commit to it =]

I think i am going to wait on the box set release.besides that ia m not driving over a hour just for a book for a game that i have not played in three years.that last set of rule was so good my club went back to using the previuos one.

23rd for preorders, it's coming out the 30th.

Do we even know what versions there will be and stuff? or is everyone in the dark till the 23rd?

Like will there be a super awesome parchement paper version that no one can buy a week later like the WFB book? Or just the regular rulebook and some useless colored templates and stuff?

I'd like to get whatever super awesome version they do cuz I like collectible thingies, it would be nice if we knew if one was even coming or not... :(
