But no, a little mortal with bit of hand waving rocks their world. Awesome.
Surely they'll FAQ Tzeentch HQs into using the new psychic powers. The Greater Daemon of the Lord of All Magic is going to be able to use magic.
Blessing of the Blood God is psychic defence!

Change and change until Change is our master, for nothing neither God nor mortal can hold that which has no form. Change is the constant that cannot be changed.
No game of chess can be won without pawns, and this may prove to be a very long game.

Would require more or less a complete rewrite. Demons don't use psychic powers because they essentially get to use them for free without tests or risk of failure and impossible to counter.
They're fine as they are, mortals shouldn't be able to counter their psychic abilities. I agree they need some sort of defence though.

Perhaps some sort of gift that functions like a psychic hood with the fluff explanation that the Daemon is using it's control over the warp to try and block the psychic power's usage? It would make sense fluff wise and would be relatively simple to implement.

Yeah a gift given to certain deamons/charectors that acted like a pyschic hood could work.
My point was more about deamons using physcic powers as actual physcic powers rather than for free as currently. It wouldn't work.
Or maybe an area-of-effect aegis like thing. Any phschic powers within 18" of a demon with "The Gift" takes the test at -2 Ld and Perils causes instant death (save allowed as normal). Something like that.
