Update #14: Chapter 1 Sample

First, and foremost, thank you to everyone who has backed us so far! All of us on the Goalsystem Delves team are inspired by your faith in our product! We're fast approaching the end date of our Kickstarter and at 70%, we just need a little more help to get over the hump. Backers, please share your support with your friends. With your help we can make it!

The Goalsystem Delves rules are currently in the layout stage, and as such, we thought it would be exciting to share a sample of the book from Chapter 1. This chapter covers the basics of Goalsystem Delves including the play area, measurement and scale, Goal Rolls, Target Numbers, and the Power of 6. We think you're gonna love it! Now get delving!

Grot 6 - Do you mean new sculpts or additional figures of the current sculpts?

plastictrees - From a mechanics standpoint, the system itself is very different from 4E. The game definitely is evocative of old school dungeon crawlers. If you are a fan of games like Heroquest/Warhammer Quest, it has a similar feel to those as well (with different mechanics of course, and more character creation options).

As for Reaper, they have a great Kickstarter going as well. We've used plenty of their miniatures during playtests, and we'd love to partner with them if the opportunity ever presented itself!

Update #15: Would You "Like" to "Follow" us Into a Dungeon http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/222965736/goalsystem-delves-dungeon-skirmish-role-play/posts/275960

We now have over 100 backers! Woot!

Once again we want to start by thanking you all for backing the Goalsystem Delves project and helping to ensure its success. As you are all probably aware, social media gives us the ability to communicate more easily with you, and to expand our growing player base. You folks have been extremely generous, and we are very grateful, but we have to ask one more favor of you. Please support our growing social media outlets by "Liking" us on Facebook, "Following" us on Twitter, and sharing our posts and tweets with your friends. With 8 days left, our deadline is fast approaching, but we know with your help, we can make it! The links to both of these are provided below, and once again thank you!

I'm from the future. The future of space

I've been playing GoalSystem based games for a long time and have bought everything under that system that has been released in PDF format. Every implementation of it has been very, very solid and has given more more tools in my indie gaming tool chest. From the action point approach in SuperSystem to the investigation stuff in The Department, every release has been worth it.

Can't wait to see what new stuff this delve brings.

Balance in pick up games? Two people, each with their own goals for the game, design half a board game on their own without knowing the layout of the board and hope it all works out. Good luck with that. The faster you can find like minded individuals who want the same things from the game as you, the better.

Update #16: More Caverns of Blood Images http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/222965736/goalsystem-delves-dungeon-skirmish-role-play/posts/276670

Here are some more images of just a small assortment of pieces from a Caverns of Blood terrain set. These modular sets of terrain are the perfect tool for making diverse, interesting, and attractive dungeon layouts for your games of Goalsystem Delves. The Caverns of Blood terrain sets are made right here, in the USA, from extremely durable and environmentally friendly recycled tire rubber. Thanks to an amazing deal with our partner Tinker's Lair, we are able to offer these terrain sets fully painted, as rewards to a limited number of backers, before they are released to the general public. There are only five sets left so get them while you still can!

* These images below are a fraction of a complete Caverns of Blood terrain set. Please check out the Goalsystem Delves main Kickstarter page for images of the complete set.

frozenwastes - Thank you so much for the compliment! We are working hard to produce high quality products, and we know skirmish gamers and fantasy RPG enthusiasts alike are going to love this one!

Update #17 Put Up Your Dukes http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/222965736/goalsystem-delves-dungeon-skirmish-role-play/posts/277676

Be on your guard as the fifth Goalsystem Delves SE miniature has been revealed: the half-orc monk! This pugnacious pugilist is a fantastic delving companion, combining strong offensive and defensive elements. Sculpted by Andy "Soapy" Dormer, the half-orc monk figure combines the half-orc's savage nature, with the serene discipline of the fighting monks art. You can receive the half-orc monk individually at the $12 reward level, or with four other SE miniatures as a part of our backer reward packages at the $50, $85, and $100. You can also get him painted and ready to wreak havoc on the table as a part of our $300 backer reward package!

Update#22: My Favorite Class http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/222965736/goalsystem-delves-dungeon-skirmish-role-play/posts/280158

I’ve already shared my favorite creature (the Hag) from Goalsystem Delves, but now I’d like to discuss my favorite Character Class. Delves features 6 basic character classes and 14 “sub-classes” that pretty thoroughly covers the gamut of the dungeon fantasy genre. My favorite character to play throughout this whole process has been the Fighting Monk. This subclass works off of the Fighter Class and features enhanced movement and a slick combat reaction that makes foes pay when they miss the Monk in close combat.

Continued in the update.

I'm from the future. The future of space

Looks like the threat worked. The project is funded.

I hope the stretch goal is something at 12,000 as there's not much time left and I like seeing stretch goals hit.

Now please kill that kobold anyway. And we'll need an artist's rendition of its death.

Update #25: 10 Hours and Counting http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/222965736/goalsystem-delves-dungeon-skirmish-role-play/posts/281582

Greetings Delvers,

We've got a little more than 10 hours left in our Kickstarter and we are so close to unlocking Squeekik, Kobold Retainer. We wanted to send another big thank you to everyone who has donated as well as all those who have helped share our Kickstarter with their friends and fellow game enthusiasts!

We've had some questions about add-ons so here is a quick list:

One of Our Two Halflings - $8

Dice - $10

Clawed Stalker, Oni Mage, Half-Orc Monk - $12

T-Shirt - $25

You can include these add-ons in your donation and we will be able to sort them out at the end of our drive with our survey. Once again, we thank you for your loyal support of the Goalsystem Delves project, and we can't wait to hear the tails of your great adventures!

Well done. This sort of project is exactly what kickstarter is for and it's cool to see it work out.

I look forward to getting my copy and putting my Reaper Bones to good use.
