Suffolk, where the Aliens roam.

I still have three Visonaries in my Action Force/GI joe box. two of the baddies and one of the good guys. Can't remember the names, think one was Cravax? red and black armour.

As to when I was 10-14, GI Joe/Action Force, had loads of it. Transformers, Star Wars toys, He Man, Made my own boardgames, had another game where we set up WW2 toys and threw a dice or something like a coin, and the winner was the first to knock over all his opponents troops. (We ended up adding movement rules and such as well.)
WWE, started supporting Man U as I got into football (now Ipswich since I moved to Suffolk) and Denver Broncos when I was 14 in 88.
Was a Queen fan (my first single being A Kind of Magic) and got into Wargamming when I was 14 as well. Had my first computer gaming experience in that period as well, a C16 followed by a C64.

Also agree, a lot of this I still like.

WWF (WCW can go to hell). My friends and I were really big into it. Undertaker was always my favorite. Well, Undertaker and Goldberg. Gotta love that spear.

Sonic games. I actually pilfered the family Genesis a few days ago and started playing Sonic and Knuckles. Its damn weird using a controller without shoulder buttons.

Lego. Dear God Lego. I spent ages building horrifically colored simulacra of Star Trek ships. And when the new trilogy landed and they had real spaceship kits?

Dictionaries. Way back in the way back I actually used to read them (As in I was around 10.). I was an only child, and that house gets mighty lonely when both your parents work full-time.

Bibles. I'm a PK, and when I wasn't alone in the house I was generally in my dad's office at church. Lots of Bibles.

Fishing. The whole family used to take annual vacations to Hayward, Wisconsin.

Aristotle. First book I recall reading was Metaphysics, outside the standard Johnny Tremain, Where the Red Fern Grows., The Giver, etc.

Australia. First time I went I was 11, and on a People to People tour. My mom made fun of me because I took 113 pictures of the military ships in Sydney.

Jackson and Livingstone's Fighting Fantasy books, picking up a guitar for the first time (I was hooked - not on the instrument, but the attention), the old 40k starter with the cardboard ork dread, what would later become Terry Pratchett's 'Bromeliad' trilogy (Truckers, Diggers, Wings), WWF (Papa Shango, Million Dollar Man, Hacksaw Jim Duggan...), my mate Fordy's stash of Page 3s, Whitesnake, Advanced HeroQuest...

I almost always agree with Albatross, I can't see why anyone wouldn't.

There's a bunch of stuff I did as a 12-14 year old that I still do, with the same enthusiasm.
Electronics, reading (just generally reading - fiction/non-fiction, SF/noir - no fantasy because I just can't get into it), lego - hell, I STILL get as much joy out of them.

You gus are making me feel old. I never got into pogs (way after I left 14 behind.) or most cartoons (never got into transformers, either). I wasn't a typical "kid" - I was more into chemistry and electronics than playing with toys and stuff. It was more fun.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

They may be your country's greatest export.

Actually, I have a theory that Lara Croft was designed that way in order to prepare the world for seemingly genetically impossible women.

Samurai Cat was indeed a fine set of books. My two favorite stories were the ones where he fought Cthulu and teamed up with Conan.

Pretty much any fantasy books, definitely Conan and Elric

Riding horses

Weightlifting

Drive in movies

All in all, my tastes haven't changed a whole lot over the years, just additions that leave less time for stuff I liked back then.

I loved Marvel action figures when I was a kid-played with them from 7-13, get some star wars figures for display, then put em in a box and forgot about them. That lasted until my first year of college and series 3 of Marvel Legends were out. After Magneto and Wolverine, I had a hard time stopping. Lol. Stopped for a while until I found Marvel Select Deadpool last week...he now stands on my bookshelf...

I saw a call for Animorphs-I had the whole damn series too-bought so many of those books my dad refused to give me more money to spend on books! I still have them, if anyone wants to buy the complete series...

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.
