Well, I suppose. Still, they're only one infantry unit in a faction full of awesomeness . I think the main issue with Skorne is that it's their warbeasts who suffer most from design. Y'know, warbeasts being the whole point in a Hordes army, really.

Skorne beasts are my favorite in the Hordes line! Siege turtle not so much though.

Good! If it wasn't subject to opinion, then there'd only need to ever be one army!

If we are briefly diverting into sculpts Khador is blessed with some of the most useful infantry in the game and the worst models.

Winter Guard (already mentioned)
Doom Reavers, horrendous sculpts, they are awful to paint
Iron Fang Pikeman, great scuplts with horrible execution of models IE the spears always break even with pinning, they are prone to bad bending if you do not brass rod them.

New to PP

Started with Khador in Warmachine but in Hordes looking at either Skorne or Trollblood.

I have to admit the thought of those pikes (transporting and bending) really turns me off iron fang pikeman.
I'm considering finding some way of turning them into iron fang clubmen. On the otherhand, i actually like the winterguard sculpts. The running-man is a fave, it's rare to see so much movement in a model.

i'm getting back into the game with my old faction, Cryx.

At Crimbo time I'll ask Mrs Souleater to get me the Hordes 2 Player Set. I like both of the forces in it and plan on having two smaller armies for Hordes with Cryx as my main army overall.

I serve the Dragonfather in all things.

...and I'm dabbling in Cygnar... yeah.

I roll Everblight and have few friends because of it.

My local area is reasonably spread out. I can count at least 3-6 players of each faction.

Out of currently 231 votes, it's a pretty good spread.

Poor Skorne, I like their models, I love their background, I like their infantry and warbeast rules!
Though those damn warlocks made me annoyed.

Went with Everblight instead after a couple of months of Proxxy Model play.

I am not that active in the player scene so... whut?

Part of your poll is you have folks like me who have 7 armies for the game so you have to keep that in account.

Skorne was pretty dominant in the tournament scene right after their book was released until Molik Karn took a nerf to the knee.

Oh. How did they nerf him?

Side step is only on initials now. my friend who plays Grayle is pretty upset at Molik for that.

Ah I seem, 2" move+reach, that is pretty nasty

PoM for now, but I'm debating whether to pick up a Hordes army (either circle, or legion), or a Cryx army for a change of scenery.
