The most surprising moment for me was when I discovered the assassinating power of a Typhon/Proteus tagteam list with Absylonia as a caster.

Basically, cast Playing God and Forced Evolution on Typhon, and Carnivore on Proteus. Proteus uses his animus, and Typhon casts his animus on Typhon, and Proteus is a self healing monster with a pretty good threat range. Playing God and Forced Evolution give Typhon Reach, DEF 15, and all his attacks Open Fist and P&S 19. He also has Gunfighter with three heads, and circular vision.

If these get into combat, say goodbye to whatever they touch. So much fun!

Who runs their Warlock up turn 1 with nothing blocking LOS to a pKreoss gun line. He did have Fog of War and Spiny Growth on Thags, Oh wait kreoss has purification and a KD feat.

Can't learn until you get stomped. I play against my friend's pKreoss all the time, but his isn't tilted for the feat like your list is. It was really something to see

Uhm....thats acutally illegal since both spells are upkeeps, only 1 of these can be on Typhon at a time.

The most surprising moment was propably as an enraged Titan Gladiator charged a Kodiak and after a total of 7 attacks that needed a 4 to hit, managed to cause a incredible amount of........5 damage total. He missed 5 out of 7 attacks and the other 2 rolled so low that he barely scratched the paint.

I think he meant Tenacity and Playing god.

Last Sunday, I was playing eMagnus against eHaley, and sneaking a Renegade round the flank to rocket Haley in the face. Did you know her Domination spell isn't restricted to melee attacks? I didn't, and Magnus was quite surprised to get shot in the face with his own powerful one-shot rocket.

Also, at a Hardcore tournament, with eBaldur vs pKreoss, I teleport a Warpwolf Stalker next to Kreoss, but some bad rolls leave him with a few health. I've nothing else that can attack! Hey, maybe Megalith could throw that Reckoner--no, never mind, he's on maximum Fury. But because of Baldur, he can do power attacks for free.... Without being able to boost, Megalith shows the wolf how it's done, hitting the Reckoner, making the strength check, and landing the throw on target, finishing Kreoss.

Before I get to my most surprising moment, I have a few things about previous comments. To the person who got beaten by thyra, did you mean Blood of Martyrs (has two swords) instead of Fire of Salvation? I ask because FoS does not have sidestep unless she can give sidestep. Unfortunately, to the fellow menite who discovered the hilarity of Amon sending ponderous jacks to ridiculous charge range, IIRC mobility is a spell targeted on either self or ctrl, and avatar isn't part of a battlegroup, so Amon's spell list does not help him. I hope that these help and prevent some future surprises.

My three most surprising moments are as follows

positive: Skorne player left a lane open from a cinerator to his caster, I noticed it and won. I was surprised as I had finally won my first tourney game

negative: 1st game against Ret-didn't read MHSF card when he was playing ravyn-the worst part is he only killed pKreoss by 1
negative: 1st game against MK bullet. Lost turn 2

After returning to the game last week, I had a match where I was playing pButcher, and after popping his feat, my widowmaker was stuck in combat with a Great Bear model. Being Mat 4 and all, I thought I would not have hit him at all. I ended up rolling a 10 on 2d6 and rolled 3d6 with a pow 8 sword. I ended up doing enough damage to force my opponent to make his tough roll. He failed, and laughter ensued.

The widowmaker that did it was my unit leader. I lost the game, but it was a close game.

Team Game where a half dead pDenny standing up to an Iron Fleshed pButcher with full focus, a MOW shocktrooper, and a crippled Destroyer swing.

PButcher misses on his final boosted attack. Denny boosts her first sliver attack and damage. Kills Butcher.

This is, of course, two turns after pButcher one shotted Stryker into paste. A great surprise indeed.

One of my very first few games. Playing against Kromac with pVlad and a squad of bombardiers. Didn't know Kromac could jump -_- Lucky I had BoK on and survived the hit. But what came next was even funnier. 1 single bombardier went up to Kromac and hit him, critted, hit him again, critted, hit him again, critted. I did this 4x in a row and the guy pretty much killed Kromac by himself

My story is currently in my sig. this is following the game where I missed or failed to damage with everything I shot for a turn. Every. Last. Shot. With Cygnar. Hence the new dice (which, actually work. Would have killed a collossal in one turn if I had gotten my entire unit into combat with it).

I was actually surprised that I killed eSeverius with a Battle Lusted War Dog. He had a few boxes earlier, but the wardog did enough damage to completely box him. Best 1 point attachment ever!
