What models are the Sisters of Khorne?

I guess I'll just follow all of your threads.

At first I saw your first pic and thought: "Well, hello!" and then I saw the Land Raider........
... Holy [bleep]ing [bleep] Chr**t on Asscrackers! I am agape at this thing! For me, it's all the little details on the vehicle: from the daemon coming out of the hull and holding a meltagun, the finely-detailed flags, to the immense amount of SKULLZ embossed on this thing. And the GIANT SKULL! This is a piece of sheer artwork you have. I also love the amount of customization and configuration you have done with the Khornate cultists. They look much more motley and disorganized, like how cultists should be!
Well done, good sir, well done.

Very heavy kibashing project (let's just say some of the axes were made by carefully fixing chainsword spikes on a WHFB axe, and an engine added).

The first guy counts as Kharn.

Those models are simply brilliant, mate! Cannot wait to see these painted!
My only nitpick would be the head of your Kharn counts-as: Attaching it so low makes the model look a little hunched.

He just as a lot of fur on his shoulders, the head is where it should be ^^ Besides, nothing is wrong with hunchbacked Chaos warriors, that's what they looked like in FB's earlier editions

I LOVE your other army, and me who has never like khorne.. LOVES this army too, I like the style you are going for and the Khorne horse is really cool!

A lil' WIP update.

A Dark Apostle, also working as a proxy BA Chaplain when my zerkers think they deserve something better than CSM dex gives them, and run as an allied Death Company along the rest who use SW dex.



The power fist is magnetized, and can be swapped for a normal pointing hand. The Crozius/Maul will get a more fitting headpiece, possibly from a FB mace.

Quite proud of how the backpack looks, been a heavy conversion using Marauder horns and Flagellant torches.. Also, since this guy is more of Chaos Undivided than mono Khorne, I think he works well with more ornate armor, reminiscent of new FB Chaos Shrine, rather than more plain and brutal looking Khorne warriors.

As for the rest of the Chosen, I wasn't too happy with them as, while looking cool, they don't fit my army's style at all. I think I will rework them into possessed marines, along with some of original possessed from the box (got 2 of these boxes before they got buffed in the new dex!)

And here's something totally different. And unkhorny...

Well, I had to find some use for the Dark Angel part of the box! Termies went to my loyalist Deathwing army, but marines and bikes were not so lucky...






Plague marines and Nurgle bikes are quite competitive nowadays, and they'd fit, I guess - after all, Nurgle is the only Chaos god Khorne doesn't truly hate...

Great job, mate! I've spent some time thinking about what a Khornate Dark Apostle would look like, and your version is excellent! I usually hate that head with a passion, but you somehow made it work!

And great idea about the DA models! Love the way you used cultist heads for some of the Plague Marines for the extra chaotic look!

Both conversions make me consider hacking apart my own Dark Vengeance Lord and really going to town on those Dark Angels!

As for further detailing the armour, check out Svartmetall's Death Guard thread over at Heresy Online, if you haven't already: That guy has Plague Marine armour down to an art, from super subtle to extremely gross. There's a very nice collection of tutorials on page 40 of the thread.

Painted with a little help of my pro painter friend, G'irelle.

Still getting used to my new camera, thus a couple photos may be blurry. But at least it captures the color well.

Needs some minor fixes, highlights on lava, and an Ogryn Flesh wash over the girl's skin. But you get the idea.

What model is the girl with him? Is it a model, conversion, or custom made?

Think its one of the old daemonette sculpts.

Very very nice work. The level of detail is awesome. So much better than the typical "smurfs with spikes" look.

That's a fairly simple conversion. Old daemonette torso, Sister Repentia legs, a random female head and plastic arms from Mantic elves or something like that. Check the prev. page for a shot of unpainted conversion.
