The changes to rallying mean that suddenly not being able to Sweeping Advance is a big deal.

Before, if you beat a unit of Marines, you wanted them to get away so you could consolidate after them to stop them from rallying and then walk them off the board. If you caught them, they stayed and kept punching you in the face.

Now that everyone who gets away can rally and shoot you in the face, you want to be able to keep Marines in combat and be able to run down units without ATSKNF.

but you cant tank with the 2+ save. You cant have a challenge beast with a 2+/5++save. The terminator armor is also so cheap. 33 points and you get a sergeant with a 2+/5++ and a power weapon. Most codexs can barely get a barebones 3+ chainsword character for 33 points.

True, I was not saying don’t take one [I don’t, but that’s for ascetic reasons], but I find Power Armored models and Terminator just don’t work well together, but that might just to me.

The other question is, why do you want a Character that can be challenged in the 1st place?

I am going to be trying a unit of blood claws in my next game just to see how they perform. Gonna run a full 15 man unit. And see how it goes.

More power to you. Try them with a Land Raider Crusader.
