I had a wolflord mounted on a wolf survive all the shooting from 40 warriors, a monolith, a doom scythe and his necron Lord. Then charged in to kill the Lord only to be mowed down by warriors. He was a resilient bastard lol

A couple from a game today. My captain taking out the stormlord, 2 squads of immortals, a destroyer lord, a wraith squad, half a squad of scarabs(thanks to a quadgun he took control of), and 2 squads of flayed ones. He was pissed apparantly.

Same game, on my right flank 30 flayed ones, a squad of immortals, 2 squads of wraiths, and scarabs appear to take out all my tactical squads. The're all on foot since the only rhino is immoblized. I know they're f'ed, but on the turn before they all charge I fix my rhino and get a 5 man squad in it. The cron player than completly wipes my flank expect for this rhino, who then tankshocks it's way out and goes 18" to my side of the board. 2 scarab bases chase after it and charge it the following player turn, my marines pop out of the speeding rhino and snap shot at the flying scarabs as they assault the rhino, finishing off one base. The last scarab assaults the fleeing rhino and knocks off the last two remaing hull points, wrecking it.

That same loan scarab base assaults an immoblized vindicator, and wreck's it as well.

I love 6th edition.

My oldcron Nightbringer taking fire from the entire Eldar army opposite him, and losing a grand total of one wound...

He dies horribly quickly the next round, but it was still awesome..

1st Turn of a 4000(maybe 4500, it has been a while) pt Apoc battle between my oldcrons and nid allies vs. Tau and IG:

A squad of 3 heavy destroyers blow up one of the IG player's baneblade which then proceeds to blow away a quarter of their team's forces in the ensuing blast, they conceded complete defeat by turn 4.

In 5th edition, we had a Sunday 1500 point tournament so only 4 people showed up. Me and a Tau player played each other first round, with him having pathfinders in a warfish, a kroot blob, a crisis suit unit, fire warrior unit, commander and bodyguard, a railhead (maybe), and a unit of broadsides. I brought my EC (Accept any challenge), 5 terminators with 2 assault cannons, furious charge assault terminators (5) in a LRC, a 10 man squad with fist/melta, and a 10 man squad with fist/melta in a LRC. It was a great game, and ended up being a grind until the last turn, with my last assault terminator and (maybe) my emperor's champion tarpitted by a giant blob of kroot. The EC whiffed, and the terminator passed 11 armor saves, then killed 2 kroot and the blob ran off the board. I won, but only had four models left on the table (EC, terminator, and 2 initiates) and we had a great time.

Last Saturday was my First 6th ed game with my Templars. Master of Sanctity must have killed about 60 Guardsmen on his own.

My other one was 5 Tactical Terminators with 2 Assault Cannons Going for a Forlorn Hope-style defence against 60 orks. Only 15 made it through alive...

Couple of good ones in my memory...

- Taking on an IG player with my Chaos Marines. Most of his troop had been taken out save for the captain character, who was simply buffer and had no gear save for a pimp stick and a pointy finger. Most of my Terminators had been taken out by lascannons but I had two left and charged into his solitary man... bastard rolled 5's/6's on his saves, and then managed to take out two terminators with double 1's on their armour saves. That model got promoted to a HQ.

- Had a secondary wave of daemons warp into the match with a group of 6 flamers landing right next to Abaddon and his five man terminator bodyguards. The flamers wiped out the entire squad in one shooting phase with those damn template attacks.

- Throwing down against Grey Knight terminators with my poor Raven Guard. Things were looking grim and my scouts had fallen back into a choke point with no back exit and failed to block the enterance. Two full squads of Termies and a dreadnought come into the cove. Then my Chapter Master launches the Orbital Strike
Direct hit, massive template, no armour. Not a single model survived.

- More of a messing around match than anything (fluff related) we had a special terrain piece which was a Vortex, which would attempt to suck in any models with 6" every turn. For every model absorbed we reduced a number from 10, and every turn we rolled on a number generator. When that number hit 1 exactly, a daemon is summoned with all the abilities of the models absorbed.
Complete awesome when I Lash of Submission his entire Death Company with The Grimm to the edge of the vortex and he manages to fail a leadership check.
That daemon damn near wiped us both off the map...

I was having sort of a vendetta with Kaldor Draigo after he and his paladinpals had annihilated my nob squad in a previous game. I did not know much about them or how to defeat them, so i charged them with the best i had. Wont do that again.

Anyway, the next game i was facing the same guy plus a tyranid player. I fired my SAG at a warrior squad. Rolled double sixes on strength. Then the daemons felt the need to troll. My blast scatterd on top of Draigo himself and sucked him back to the warp.

Best. Kill. EVAR.

This one was 5th ed, so 6" charges.

I had one that was a tactical error by my opponent, he was bearing down on an IG infantry squad with blood claws, they fired and killed three.
Before firing they had been 5 inches away, after I cunningly took the casualties from the front he ended up 6.5" distant, I then wiped them out the following round of shooting

same game, into the final turn I had a stormtrooper with a melta gun and his Sgt, versus a Wolf Lord on Thunderwolf who would be able to charge on the following turn. It came down to the shooting, If I took the would I would win the game.
The melta missed but the Sgt didn't, and managed to wound, however the wolflord only had to make one 2+ save.

He didn't

Was using triple Vindicators in a SW army. One was immobilized an the the other two were about 6 inches in front of it on either side, my opponent deep strikes his terminatorsright in front of the broke one fails his shooting at them an dares me to fire at him. I turn the two side vindicators at the termites an fire all three at them. All three scored direct hits an wiped out the terminators. I have a picture somewhere.
