I definately plan on using a Nightsythe....i think i will be dumping 15 warriors through (targetting that pesky land raider for example).

I plan on trying the Doomscythe but ill try to magnetise it so if it doesn't work out i have a second nightscythe instead.

The possibility of moving 36 inchs and dumping 15 immortals hitting on 6's (getting 2 extra hits for every 6) is just too much fun!
Any thoughts?

Possible to finagle a Destroyer Lord in with the Immortals? That'd give them Preferred Enemy rerolls on their shooting for more 6s, if it works.

Hmmm. That might actually work.

Just one problem, Immortals have a max squad size of 10.

10 Immotals w/ Tesla + Res Orb, Weave, Scythe Lord (or dlord) + other nasties from another court is what you'd have to do.

Experience is something you get just after you need it
The Narkos Dynasty - 15k
Iron Hands - 12k
The Shadewatch - 3k
Cadmus Outriders - 4k
Alpha Legion Raiders - 3k

My case for the Doomsday Ark:

First, Alpha strike. In 2 of the deployment types, you can be reasonably assured to deploy on opposite corners, or at least opposite sides of the long table edge. DD Ark doesn't mind, it can still liquify things across the map turn 1. Particularly enjoy popping transports with assault troops inside. Turn 1 is also a rare opportunity where skimmers have no cover saves. If you win the roll off, and your opponent can't find enough cover for everything (I play against DE fairly often, and it's tough to give 8 skimmers cover, without clumping up for multiple hits). Open topped, av 10, with no cover or FF now? Those are dead transports.

2nd, T4 deathstars, MEQ, and TEQ. The deathray can line up shots to clip a couple, 3 tops. However, after deepstriking, a Deathwing squad is perfect cannon fodder. Better yet, deepstriking paladins. In one game, my DDA right out killed a strike squad in one shot, and 4/5 Grey Knight Terminators. It made it's points back by turn 3. So, I couldn't really complain that it had it's cannon destroyed by turn 4, and had 3 hull points stripped. At that point, I supported my back field with broad sides, and it scored the final 2 wounds on the Dreadknight that cut it's cannon off.

I have been running 2 AB's and 1 DDA for the most part, but next week I'll be trying out the Doomscythe in a few games. I'm optimistic, but I'm not sure it will outperform my DDA. I could certainly be surprised, though.
