What about njal stormcaller's runic wepaons?

IT is modelled as a force stave

I know by RAW is a unsual force weapon but I really do hope an FAQ is done so it a stave because thats what it is.

Feels stupid to have it as S4 AP3. I mean rune priests and stormcaller are not your average space marine with average weapons.I don't think paying 150 extra points for njal and you don't get a basic stave is really fair.

anyway the rule is rule so i will follow it but i really would like a FAQ to tell me its not or is a stave

Some people don't think it's fair that Njal has effects on the battle field with out having to make psychic tests, or that he nullifies enemy psychic powers on a 3+, or that he knows all of the SW psychic powers and can cast two per turn and all of that for about 250 points.

But all of that aside, Njal isn't supposed to be a close combat guy. If you want one of those, get a wolf lord. His staff is an unusual force weapon. S4 AP3.
