I was under impression zag replaced the boy too, until someone pointed that out to me. of course at work now w/ no codex

more or less I thought the same situation came up with snikrot and kommandos? ie. could have 15 kommandos and snikrot, or 14 and a nob? Thought it came down to wording or something. I'm no rules lawyer!
Ah, I'm sorry, I misread you. The FAQ, in fact, did address this. You're right, of course.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.

I tbink its been mentioned before but i dont think it can be stressed enough. In My experience with tau, Zagstruk has been my ace in the whole. Deep strike and charge multiple units at once. I would imagine if you can find anyway to infiltrate your 30 boys squads (like the master of ambush warlord trait) it would be your best intrest to use and abuse it. Basically, be up in there base killing there dudes with a few fast units to allow the rest to move in for the kill.
