Hello all! Just this morning I did some preliminary work on my BR Terminators, basecoating with Rakarth and all that. I also decided to take your advice and try red helmets, which I've tried on the "Test model" of the squad, the guy I do painting on first.
I actually REALLY like how this came out, and I'm planning on doing it for the rest of the Terminators too. Any thoughts?
Cheers!

Subject: Re:Boneguard - Terminator work on Page 2!
Hello again Dakka! Long time no see; I've been away on road-trips and doing theatrical stuff and all sorts of things and so have been unable to post as of late :( but I refuse to let my thread die! My Boneguard will one day stand strong on the board and purge their holy grounds of interlopers. The work I've done recently (very scattered and piecemeal) has been on my Terminators which I showed a WIP on last time, so this is the work I've done on the squad so far!
I'm just going to put them out without a lot of comments, as there are a lot of photos..
First Terminator!
Second Terminator!
Terminator Sergeant!
Fourth Terminator!
Fifth Terminator! The final one!
The Boneguard Terminator Squad advances.
With their lovely ouroboros heraldry!
All freehand, mind you, and the first time I've ever tried doing any sort of iconography. I think it actually turned out pretty well, considering.
Any feedback is welcomed, and appreciated muchly. Super muchly. As of this moment I'm not sure what to do with their weapons (powerfists, storm bolters and power sword) or their Crux Terminatuses.
Thank you for your time Dakka! And it's good to see you again

Your welcome! I've been trying to finish my own stuff now, painfully slow progress.
Glad I helped and Nice Terminators man, I assume you are painting the parts that you
know for sure which color to use, right? 'Tis smart.

Seeing a squad of veterens swoop in in a Vendetta, secure the area, deliver that math assignment, and extract within 2 minutes would be freaking sweet.
That's the general idea, yeah the parts I'm torn on are mostly the fists and the weapons. I'm not confident about whether they should be colourful or not. Any thoughts?
I actually *do* have the whole set... But the Dreadnought was already painted in a variant of this scheme, where the grey was replaced with hawk turquoise so I have to repaint it. I'll post what it looks like now and then do a WIP!
Maybe you could paint the power fists red or white for a little change of color from the
standard tan/bone color you already have going. Or you could paint the Ouroboros
on the fists as well as the pads if you're up for the freehand.
