So because the Hive Guard aren't Jump Monstrous Creatures, all the Hive Tyrant is allowed to do while attached to them is move like a normal Monstrous Creature.


Hm... this is in the jump infantry rules? It certainly helps the case against this working.

Once a Character joins a unit he becomes part of that unit.

You target the unit.

The FMC would take all the potential wounds until it died or it lived through the barrage.

The FMC would also take a grounding check for being hit.

No matter what unit you put a FMC into unless the unit can swoop they are hit at normal BS.
