If you are refering to Fortune, it only works on Eldar units, not Dark Eldar.

Take an Eldar Unit (Warlocks or Harlequins are a common one) with a Farseer.
Attach a 2++ Archon.
Profit.

Again like I said, Fortune only effects Eldar units, not Dark Eldar ones. Archon is a Dark Eldar unit. Cast it if you like but it won't effect him.

But it will affect the unit, of which he is a part. All models in the unit, not just Eldar models, gain the benefit.

"Did you ever notice how in the Bible, when ever God needed to punish someone, or make an example, or whenever God needed a killing, he sent an angel? Did you ever wonder what a creature like that must be like? A whole existence spent praising your God, but always with one wing dipped in blood. Would you ever really want to see an angel?"

Yep, head over to YMDC if you want to debate it, but it has pretty much been decided until FAQ'd.

Honestly, the thing that I find way more annoying than anything else is that one is forced to take all casualties from the front of the squad. I would be fine if it just allocated wounds for saves from front to back, but that you continue hitting the front man until he dies is absurd.

Obviously you aren't familiar with what always happens to the first Stormtrooper through the door.

As with all games, you must balance reality and gameplay. I like the wound allocation for this edition MUCH better than 5th. It goes a lot faster in the aggregate.

Yeah, when I first looked at the rule, I was very sceptical about it, but once having played a game, I really liked it and thought it a big improvement all round on 5th. Same's true for most of the 6th edition tweaks and new rules.

Follow these two simple rules to ensure a happy Dakka experience:

Rule 1 - to be a proper 40K player you must cry whenever a new edition of the game is released, and always call opposing armies broken when you don't win.

Rule 2 - Games Workshop are always wrong and have been heading for bankrupcy within 5 years since the early 90s.

I just like the simplicity of it. "I did 15 wounds, roll 15 saves." Bam, done. "Oh, you have a character in there? Start rolling some LOSs."

Aye. Even with different save values and multiple LOSs, I don't think it taks an inordinate amount of time and it seems fairer all round than 5th.

Most of the issues I've encountered have either been down to poor rules reading or in some cases ambiguous rules writing.
