You think Eldar fans like that Gaunts Ghosts could kill billions of Eldar without reloading in a few hours?
In
IA8, the Elysians lost their entire regiment to Orks, I don't think the players who bought their expensive models would be happy that their awesome looking army sucks in the fluff
Imperial Armor I think hates Elysians. They're always dieing and stuff. I just wish I could afford the $1000+ needed to buy an all Elysian army.
The way I look at it, as a biased Elysian Commander, the Elysians always do their job and it's the other armies that screw up and leave us to die.
Taros? Tallarns and Cadians didn't get to the Hydro-processing plant fasted enough after we took and held it for 3 days with no reinforcements.
Kastorel Novem? In a rare feat, the Space Marines, in this case the much respected Raven Guard, failed if I remember correctly. The Elysians were mainly supposed to be a diversionary force while the Marines took out we manufacturing plants and super heavies, which they failed.
Mymeara? We actually did okay here, gunned down some Eldar aspect warriors, but couldn't stop Phoenix Lord from reawakening.
Personally the way I see the "food chain" is like this:
Imperium
Space Marines: Win most of the time and the few times they do is when it's show casing how awesome the next big thing is.
IG: Either dying in droves or making heroic last stands that end in Pyrrhic victories at best.
Sisters: Let's not talk about them....Being a Sister of Battle is suffering.
Grey Knights: Have they lost? In fluff they're not deployed much so I guess that skews their W/L ratio. I heard they took a bit of a mauling at Vraks despite "winning"
Chaos
Khorne: As long as the Blood flows, I doubt he'll care
Tzeentch: 3 words, "Just as Planned"
Nurgle: Kinda the same as Khorne
Slaanesh: I think personally think that Slaanesh is the b*t*h of the 4 Chaos gods. Then again, I'm not that well read in Chaos in general.
CSM: They win some they lose some, I think they're one of the more balanced forces.
Xenos
Orks: With their spores, once they hit you'll never see the end of them unless you glass the planet.
Tyranids: One of the few races to recognize that space is 3d and to swim up beneath the galactic plane. That and everything seen so far is supposed to be just a vanguard.
Tau: Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the Damocles Crusade a stalemate once the Imperium got to the developed "core world of the region like Dal'yth?
Eldar: Since Eldar are so farsighted, in can be kinda hard to tell if a win is actually a win or not, like Tzeentch at a smaller scale.
Dark Eldar: Everything's just a game to them, so I doubt they'll really care as long as the individual escapes alive.
