Yeah, I guess I'll just run with the idea that the Inquisition has some sort of formula, where they compare a force's importance and reliability to the level of exposure to corrupting influences - influenced by the personal style of individual Inquisitors.
Guess that would make the most sense considering all the fluff.

That said it's hardly something a puritan would do so something between the two sides but leaning towards radical I guess.
Well, by sabotaging it they could potentially use the power against chaos. I don't see any reason why a Radical wouldn't disseminate a spell that is advertised as "get advice from the warp!" but is really "become food for a really short lived daemon!"
Puritans wouldn't let that hub even exist, they'd stamp it out.

I'm pretty sure Daemonic existence is the worst kept secret in the Imperium, it makes more sense to let certain people know about it, especially certain Marine chapters, I'd wager that at least all first founding chapters know about Daemons.
As for Grey Knights, I'm sure I read somewhere about certain chapter masters sending recruits to Grey Knights and/or requesting their aid, so I'd wager that most chapter masters and maybe even some higher ranking officers (i.e the heir elect, senior company captains ect.) are definitely aware of the Grey Knights' existence.

I think it has more to do with the secrecy of the grey knights, and also the unit in question. Way more red flags would be raised if a first founding chapter had some marines mindscrewed. Explains how Uriel Ventris keeps knowledge of them. Wherein a 26th founding chapter with comparatively little political clout would be mind wiped without much thought.
( TL R if the inquisition screwed with a first founding chapter it would undoubtedly lead to bad things for the Imperium)

Even that depends. A squad of initiates itl probably be for their own good.
But then as weve said before, either its one, the other, or more than likely depending on a gak load of variables.

The Ultramarines are always smashing M'kar, the Blood Angels are constantly fighting Ka'Bandha, The White Scars that that one demon prince they fought with Shrike, all those chapters around the eye of terror...
I think most if not all Loyalist marines know about demons.

Define "know about". Know that they exist? Sure. Even the common peasant knows that daemons exist to some extent Know any real details about them? Probably not.

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.
