Depends. Since most of them are run on chat programs like teamspeak, ventrillo, aim, steam, chatzy, etc-- either voice or text chat-- you're gonna have a hard time finding them unless they post on a forum or such looking for a player.

There are numerous places where you can post that you're looking for a game though. Here on this forum is one, and on the spoony experiment forums is another. An internet search should get you a few sites where you can look for people trying to set up games on the internet.
