Do you mean the up-arrow on the right shoulder pad? That's a symbol most (all?) loyalist chapters use to mark the Tactical squads.

Pick up a Rune Preist for an HQ (the AoBR captain doesn't fit the look of SW at all).
Grab some SW Wolf Guard (terminators) and use those parts to make a full 10 man termie unit with plenty of options and wolfy bits.
From that point on you'll probly want to pick up a tank or 2 in the future and some extra troops.
Oh yeah... Long Fangs. Buy Longfangs.
Edit:
Did you already paint the AoBR terminators? If that's the case ignore my idea on the 10 man unit... Unless you feel like repainting them.
I did in fact paint all the marines in my AoBR set, but it's not a big deal i found the terminators in there one of the easiest to paint personally. But thanks for the info!!! lll post some pic's up in about a hour or so im about to leave work!

As far as what to get also look at picking up a rhino. Since your army will probably want a ride to the battle instead of walking the distance.

That would be an easy conversion as i could just replace the yellow i currently have painted on them with black! By chance is the arrow on the SM shoulder's a Ultramarine logo, or just a stock marine insignia?
The arrow is just a tactical squad marker so will be fine with any chapter.

I would second (third?) the suggestion of buying the codex before anything else. I made that mistake and now I have some models that have weapons not usable by the SW.
But once you buy the codex, I'd suggest a rhino/razorback (buy the RB kit, it's about the same price and you get more options.) as well as the SW starter kit. That kit alone will give you enough wolfy bits to fix up everything else you already have, and more besides.
As well... great job on that painting! You've done better than me by far, and I've been doing it for a while now. I'm jealous

Pick up a Rune Preist for an HQ (the AoBR captain doesn't fit the look of SW at all).
A few extra bits, a sharp knife, and play around with some green stuff (animal hair cloaks are about the easiest thing to do ever) and you can make a pretty good Space Wolf Character.
There are so many little things that can change the look of the AOBR guys that they can easily become something else. Its also much easier for them to fade into the background and used as filler.
The middle three guys are AOBR marines. A simple head and backpack swap. Add a skull or two, use green stuff to add a beard, and appropriate paint job is all this took.
All of these terminators and the guy with the combiflamer (second from the left) are AOBR models with just some swapping of parts for the main wolf pack box.
I'm not trying to toot my own horn so much as to show that the AOBR guys really can blend in nicely with just the smallest of conversions. Its a great way to get started on a marine army and get a good unit or two for very low price.

Wow man they look awesome! What do you mean when you say green stuff? Sorry for all the questions but im only about a week into this lol. When you do head swap's and such do you just saw off the head of the model and re glue a new one? By the starter kit do you mean the battleforce? or the 10 man battlepack (?) that ive seen advertised?

I think he means the battleforce, but before all of that buy the codex. Green stuff or epoxy putty is putty that has a connected blue part and green or yellow part, you twist them together until they turn green, then you can use it to sculpt stuff.

Very good first models!
A couple of pointers, buy a hobby drill or pinvise and drill out the barrels of the guns, adds some depth to them. Also I know you just finished painting your aobr Ultras, but down the road after you paint some Wolfs it is very easy to go back and strip your aobr minis. All you need is simple green or what I use is La's Totally Awsome from the dollar tree and let them soak for a day or two and use a old toothbrush on them and they will be like new, ready to receive some fur and grey paint.

Thanks for the compliment. Yeah, head swaps are just that. You cut the head off of one model and glue on the head from another. When I chopped off the heads of the AOBR guys tried to be careful to not take out the collar that goes behind the head. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't, but as the collar is almost always obscured by the backpacks its not really that big of a deal if the collar got chopped off too. Swapping out the back packs was real easy, you just have to cut off the post on the AOBR guy and surface glue on a wolf back pack.
Green stuff is modeling putty. Ive also seen it come in brown and grey. Its a two part epoxy putty that you have to mash together and then use it for filling gaps or sculpting your own stuff. It just takes a little practice and isn't that difficult to add on simple little things.

You might also consider picking up a SW Battleforce instead of two Space Wolves Packs.
The reason I suggest this is you get two SW Packs, a set of Scouts, and a Drop Pod at a slightly reduced price. I have a Battleforce that I haven't started assembling yet, but it comes with plenty of heads and bits to convert your AoBR models to SW.
If you ever decided to repaint your models, you can pick up some LA Totally Awesome at your local Dollar Store here in the States, which does a great job of stripping paint after a good day's soaking.
Welcome to the game!

One thing I would say about the arrows on the shoulder pad is that yes, it is a troops marking for most chapters but I have never seen it used in a SW army, as they have colourings on the shoulder pads to differentiate between ranks etc. They do not follow the Codex layout of a chapter and so do things differently. My advice would be to get rid of the arrows.

Not necessarily true, if you want to represent a Codex(some people call them "vanilla" marines, like Ultras and the other basic chapters) Chapter with the Space Wolves codex. Using the SW codex you can have Grey Slayers as that chapter's Tactical Squads, Blood Claws as it's Assault Squads, and Long Fangs as it's Devastators, using the same type of markings as a Codex Chapter. Maybe in such a imaginary chapter their normal marines are more elite.
Or maybe it's even the Chapters First Company (of a usual ten), full of the best of the best.
Through the magic of counts-as, you can do nearly anything with a cool story driving it. Especially as it wouldn't even be counts-as at all, but simply a different paintjob using official rules. As long as you follow a legal codex, you could field an army of bright pink Dark Angels (well, if you were some sort of kook, lol).

Even then the arrows are fine. Removing them is going to be difficult to do wile trying to make that shoulder pad look normal. Leave the arrows they are fine.
