These look incredibly awesome! I cant believe you accomplished all that in a month. I've spent a month on the same 5 scourges. (painting armour edging on DE is infuriating) This makes me want to get some SW mailed out to work on instead.

How did you do your metals? they look awesome

very cool charging Grey Hunter...
i like the old-school axe!!!
there is a distict lack of hair, though...
poor little bald wolf...

that gun is cool, huh...
it's a Russian Saiga, a copy of the AK, but you can switch out barrels and recievers for different calibers...
in that pic i have the 12-guage shotgun barrel in...
that magazine only has ten rounds in it!!!
makes an impressive boom, and i can use it on the pistol range...
used to really trip out the security guards training with their little 9mm pistols...
gotta love Alaska...

cheers

old photo, mate...
my locks are even longer now, and bleached very blonde from the sun here in Mexico...
i'm in a gorgeous artsy house, in a village full of Canadian and American tourists, taking all their money...
it's paradise...
oh, aside from the power outages, random lack of water, mosquitoes, mad dogs, and even a few Englishmen...
slows the painting right down, but at least i get to surf in tropical water everyday...

tattoos on the Wolfie's head will look cool...
it turned out nice on Wil's Wolf Lord...
a little facepaint could work well, too...
Mark of the Wolfen, for a pack leader, maybe...

cheers
jah

Daaaaamn! I've been looking for some good inspiration for some wolves im painting myself. I got all stuff I need myself BUT...them metals! Those metals you paint are just beauty.

You told us already about the gold, it was Balthasar Gold, agrax, then bally again was it? But how did you do those steel looking metals? Leadbelcher and nuln oil? Please tell, they're so smooth

Need your miniature army painted? Doing commission works now also internationally. Contact by PM or by email for list of prices and schedule.

Wow. I love your wolves. I find the bronze to be an original departure from the more common bright golds and or shadow grey trims. Yet at the same time your unit marking hail back to the 2nd-3rd edition geometric designs. The two tone wolf pelts and tails are well done. Lastly your faces have excellent blending and detail. The wethering is crisp and not over done.

The only thing I am not sold on is the color pallet on the bare bones and skulls that remind me too much of props you can pick up during holoween.

I started a wolf guard unit a while ago but he was just a power armored fellow with a power fist to lead my razorback squad. here is the second of my wolf guard unit! More to come

Wow! Phenomenal work! The detail in the faces is pretty amazing and I'm really loving the tank! Great goal as well to paint 250 points a month and play once a month. I've still got way too many models to paint and even build! I've got boxes of termagaunts still waiting to be opened.

Cant say it enough, amazing job. I also like the snow did you use the snow flock or some sort of homemade paste? (the baking soda one)

Wow, your painting is amazing. I'm very impressed. I couldn't paint my wolves to anywhere near that standard nor could I play with them so I'm selling them if you're interested. I have:
- 2 grayhunter packs, both with 2 plasma guns, 1 with 1 power sword.
-1 Wolfguard battle leader with a frostblade and a storm shield
-1 Lone wolf with a thunderhammer and a storm shield
-3Long fangs each with a missile launcher.
Message me if you're interested. And again, well done on your own models x x

Oh and I also have a codex but I'm assuming you already have one of them. It's the perfect wolf starter army really lol x x

While starting the highlight information stage of my terminators recently I I figured I would demonstrate how NMM works outside of the silver/steel/gold cliché.

The thing to realise about nmm is that it's not a technique, nor is it a method or even a recipe. Non metal metallics are a result. In fact a result of all the above.
The great thing about technique, method and recipe is that they can be applied to any colours you like to get that shiny effect anywhere.

Oh and I won't be doing the full model or unit like that (tho I could) i just wanted to share my thoughts with you.
