I'm willing to band all ork players into a king-sized WAAAGH if they want.

If i can get the guys together i'm going to be running a Planetstrike-based Apoc game at 85000 pts, (orks vs every other Order fether), but right now it's very up in the air.

If I was anywhere even remotely close to Oregon, I would be on that like white on rice on a paper plate with a glass of milk on a paper plate in the middle of a snowstorm.

I'll be playing 1000 point games as that is the point limit at our LGS (and no special characters allowed) and I'd imagine my wych heavy DE will be getting their butts kicked quite often

But they will look simply stunning doing so..

My Coven will be having their collective asses handed to them too, but they'll simply re-attach the dislocated asses and carry on..

S10 Archon with 3 pain tokens (not to mention his huskblade) who doesn't like to roll ones for his shadow field can be annoying.

Even more funny would be if we deployed all the ork players on the same planet initially and then rolled up the rest of the system from there. I can't wait to see that thread for an order or other player...

Would we be able to smash a planet completely by doing this? Aka absolutely crush the occupying forces through weight of numbers and just roll up the system in one mean, green, pain train? Yeah the order factions outnumber us, but they'll be very spread out. If we applied most of our forces in one area, we could pretty much lock down a system unopposed. the soonest they could respond would be the next day or so, and thats if they're right there watching the reports ready to move. And they'll still have to defend the other planets from various other forces, as we're not the only threat.

Think this would be worth a shot boyz?

Or put everyone on the same planet. Order guys never saw it coming.

That might actually be worth a shot (in my opinnion at least). All the Orks on one planet and the rest scattered around to harass others. That just might start a very interesting chain of events. And I can actually see that happening fluffwise. Chaos/DE/whatever manipulating the Orks to deploy a huge Waaagh! on a single planet and guiding them somehow to move on from there while secretly raiding important defences before the Orks roll in.

I'll bounce the idea off 'Uge Mek Grabwotz.

If we do decide to do the massive WAAAGH, what do we target? A big, juicy target like a main population center or forgeworld? Or do we attack some of the more underpopulated outlier planets to build a foothold?
