This is a bit late in the welcome wagon, but welcome aboard and do post your builds and models here as well. I tend to multi post in different sites and when it deals with Warhammer I post them here too. See you around the forums.

Kaiserbudheim wrote:Welcome aboard and - - OH MAN ARE THOSE AWESOME PAPERCRAFT! Can't wait to see what else you'll have in your gallery! Are all those hand cut or do you have a vector cutter? Do you have non 40K papercraft built as well?
Hand cut for now, I am thinking about an SD cameo for Christmas but I also need the place for it, my little desk is cramped and in an appartment I don't have the luxury of a garage or workshop as I used to have when leaving in the US.
Yes I have non 40K paper craft. Some manowar ships (they got me started as the miniatures are out of print) regular ships and a few oddities (bird, dragonfly, ...)
Automatically Appended Next Post: Hello Silveroxide,
yes I'll cross post, I used to do it between a papercraft forum in France and Zealot, it takes time though. But it make sense to post here too.
For those wondering about the next stuff, I am working on dreadnoughts, I posted one on the dreadnought show off thread and I'll post it here once I have both pictures and a 360 view of it.

Here is the second of a pair of papercraft dreadnought. It is all paper with 3 exceptions, the CCW (I have claws or chain fist options) are made of plasticard, the base rocks are made of polystyrene and the magnets to hold the choice of CCW are made of "magnets".
The torso can rotate as well as the arms which can be swapped out. The CCW arm can also move within the shoulder.
I'll do a spin pretty soon.
Please tell me what you think
PS:
the arms are painted but not the dread itself I intend to do so later, but the paper make it passable even unpainted

Dreadnought is finally painted, sorry for the bad picture quality.
I'll also try to do a 360 shortly.

Those are awesome!
What paper weight are you using and how are you painting them? I'd figure with acrylic paint the paper would warp from the moisture in the paint.

Using 160gsm for most of it and 190 or 250 for reinforcements. I use acrylic paint but and the heavy lamination prevented it from warping. However this was my first try painting the paper model and next time I'll seal it first. The reason is not so much to prevent warping but so that the paint does not get absorb by the paper as fast, I would've the paint to behave more like when painting minis.
