I have at probably 200-250 dice, all told. Mostly assorted
d6, but I've got plenty of
d20 for Infinity/D&D and everything from
d4 to percent dice for
RPGs (or avoiding agonizing over minor decisions with pretty much any number of options

).
Specifically, I've got the 6d6 (1/2" across) and scatter die that came in
AoBR, a backup scatter die that I engraved from a blank die, 100 tiny (1cm across)
d6 I tacked on to an order of cheap crap from China for when I need massive rolls, one snazzy marbled metallic green
RPG set I got for my fiance (which, sadly, never got much use :(), and 1lb of assorted other dice - I bought the "pound of dice" deal from RPGshop, if memory serves, which gave me all the variety I could need, in terms of both type and color.
There's pretty much no roll I can imagine encountering that I couldn't make without reusing dice. Only exception I can think of would be the melee attacks of one Green Tide Apocalypse formation charging a second one, both being strung out across the whole table, such that all models were in fighting range. Considering the odds of
that ever happening, I think I'm pretty much set for life, unless I decide to start matching dice colors to army color schemes.
