Also, even with level 3 mastery you still have to take one spell from your gods dicipline which leaves you with 2 rolls to try and secure Iron Arm. 33.3% chance for 75 points doesn't seem worth the cost.

You can't take a DP without a "Daemon of..." choice. No more undivided Princes! I guess they are making some sense of the fluff considering a Chaos God has to grant you Daemonhood... right?

sigh* that's unfortunate there's no undivided. Least it's only 15 pts. Nurgle is the best FMC DP imo. T6 so only force weapons are ID'ing you and shrouded for a 3+ cover when evading. Hope you dont get grounded and then smash face with the black mace next turn. Dont bother with shooty as your firing snapshots if you evade and it helps keep him cheap. still 265 points tho... with a 3+/5++. Why cant tzeench give a 4++ anymore! re-rolling 1's when your using your armor save is sweet but relying on a 5+ for things people are actually going to shoot him with isn't.

Nurgle Doesn't grant +1 T on DPs. Just SnP and Shrouded. Still, Flying Nurgles are tough to bring down from shooting, but only when evading. Simply put don't take Nurgle Princes. It will rarely have cover unless diving, and SNP negates having a foot one, and lack of Running and overwatch is bad.
I still maintain that Khorne DPs are the best, with AoBF, followed by Tzeentch with 3 Biomancy Powers. If you have the good fortune to roll Iron Arm, Endurance and Warp Speed if is Godly. Add Black Mace or maybe the Scrolls of Magnus.

ack Yeah i just saw that nurgle princes don't get +1 T. I would have to agree with your assessment then sir. Though the reason I missed it in the first place is I wouldn't take a DP regardless too many points too juicy a target. its amazing how fast sterngaurd HOSE them down.

Marked sorcerers/princes must use 1 roll on the Codex pool, the others may go to BGB
I still think MoN Princes have a good shot. Nothing says you cannot use existing terrain/cover to get a save.

Ran atzeentch prince today with wings armor and gift. I rolled"multiple boons" the got better armor, instant death, adamantium will and flesh bane. Holy crap I could have won the game with just him... And basically did.
Gift of mutation is awesome!

From what i've seen of them, I find the best ones to be mark of tzeentch, wings, armour & black mace. Tzeentch mark seems to make them the most durable, wings keep them mobile, armour is mandatory and maximizes tzeentch, and black mace is just awesome.

Without cheating how do you take an undivided prince?

I guess you could take an undivided champ and hope for a good boon roll but then how do you make him a lvl 3 psyker?
