I know this is somewhat necromatic but I just wanted to say this is amazing work, and is very inspirational - quad or no quad for 'nids its an excellent set of terrain pieces and the quad itself could make an interesting objective marker.

Very nice work, I plan on starting tyranids soon so these ideas could come in handy.

Great work. What about codex based fortifications? That would be awesome, though it's too late for me as I run CSM. I can easily see tyranids having sentient bug guns. Maybe just make it cost a few more points than the standard ADL but let the weapon be full automated and functional. Give it its own stat line with BS and everything built in, you know? Maybe even a couple of different "breeds" to choose from, with an antiinfantry bug gun, and antiair, etc.
