My experience is that while Battlefoam makes amazing bags, they're extremely lacking on the timeliness of filling orders. This is one reason I went with the Sword bag; great bag from Battlefoam and when I need new foam, I can just buy SD stuff from Neal at TheWarStore and get it shipped promptly.

Breotan / Skipper - I would have to disagree on this. Considering the amount of orders received over Black Friday weekend we announced and let everyone know that orders would take a bit longer than normal.

During all times of the year except for Christmas we send all orders out in less than 48 hours for retailers, and 5 days for customers.

This means that most orders will leave our warehouse in 1 week or less. Keep in mind that once a product leaves we have little control on its arrival date.

The country, state, and city you live in will decided the overall speed. We also can help everyone much quicker if they contact us direct to find out about their orders.

Simply posting on a public forum and hoping we somehow read it makes for terrible communication. Most of the time other customers forward us these threads and let us know something is going on.

We have no time to be checking if a forum post refers to a customer having problems. If you require assistance or need something super quick because of an upcoming trip or special event you need to call us direct.

That is the only way we can help you. Also, I'm not exactly sure how getting our product at the War Store is possible since we do not supply the War Store with any Battle Foam goods.

I just called and my stuff may ship out end of this week or begining of next week. I have been asking questions by email and have been getting responses. I just want my stuff and it would be better if the status had dates on it. It currently feels like a black hole of a line. If I want to express my worries on getting my stuff, I can. You might think this is wrong since it looks bad on you but it is how I feel.

Skkipper - You are more then welcome to post whatever you like in any forum. We are just saying that we can't help you unless we know about your problem.

It sounds like customer service has been in contact with you and has been answering your questions as they come in.

The fact that we are moving as fast as we can and you want it faster is a completely different point. I also went ahead and checked to see what the situation is with your order and it seems you have a bunch of custom work.

Please keep in mind that we don't want to rush projects and cause mistakes. Our guys are very detailed and take their time to ensure that you get what you want.

It also sounds like all of this will be resolved in the next few days.

If timing is an issue in the future please order before our Black Friday sale or after Christmas. These 2 months are extremely busy and have all of our guys working double shifts.

So you are saying if you want a custom order for Christmas order it in October? I understand it is a busy time of year. I also understand that black friday is normally time to buy x-mas presents. After spending $400+ on a custom order. I just expect a clearer time frame, instead of we are working on it with no timeframe included.
I have a 6 month trip Jan 1st and assumed it would be done in time. I emailed and checked up on my order but didn't get any solid timeframe.

I placed my order at a half hour after the black friday sale started and didn't expect to be deep in the custom order que.

so an estimated ship time on custom orders would be an improvement.

The black label 16 is shipping today i will get pictures and a review up next week followed by how it survived the 6000 mile airplane trip from Seattle to Hawaii to nagoya.

I don't know about you, but when I submitted my order I had to tick a box saying something to the effect of "I understand that custom orders may take 4-6 weeks to dispatch"

yep an 4 to 6 weeks would have worked. 7 weeks and i was screwed. currently scheduled to be at my place 12/27. still kind of crappy to have a black friday sale on stuff you can't deliver before x-mas

I might have to bite the bullet and get some carry luggage for my WM collection this year...either that or continue to use my display case.

Yeah Greg is my college roommate. I drug him to the uk when I was there when he won heat 1 of their gt. I will miss adepticon this year due to my Japan trip. To summarize my feelings on battle foam I like their product and the owner. They just need better customer support on delivery times.
