Thank all you very much.

I'm really glad you like her, (I've decided that it's a girl). Getting the paint into all of the scales was very hard, I had to use washes to get it right. This thing was one of those models that I start and I'm not sure where it is going and each section requires more thought. I wasn't really sure I was happy with it until it was done. I often find that hard models like that can turn out to be some of the best ones. I learned alot from her and that will really help in my next task, the Mutalith vortex beast. Got it today and I soooo had to paint one of those when I saw it. Also it's better in game terms than it's bro, the Slaughterbrute and its a cooler model with that swirly-thing and all the tentacles, everybody loves tentacles.

I'm working on a Slaanesh themed army too, but I'm doing a 40K mix of daemons and chaos marines.

Glad you like my Spawn, I love Spawn. The new book allows me to take only two per army though and I want to do more. It matters only a bit though, the Mutalith can make more Spawn during the game and the odd character may turn into one if he displeases Slaanesh (or pleases, Slaanesh is fickle and the devoted of the Lustvipers care nought for details such as oblivion).

Your Slaaneshi 40K army sounds interesting, link it to me and I will take a look.

Thanks again to everybody.

Here is my Slaanesh Sorcerer Lord riding his Manticore. He is named Sowmir Throttle Grope, there is fluff for him below the pics.

I tried to do something different with the Manticore. They are usually red which is fine but I wanted a more Slaaneshi look for mine. I used light green and painted a scale pattern onto it. I also painted on the scales on the underside of it's body. I gave it light grey fur to contrast with the green. The Sorcerer is painted with screamer pink on his armour. The cloak was painted with genestealer purple which I love and then highlighted up and shaded. I often convert models alot but I didn't do much with this one. I only replaced the Sorcerer's head with a Daemonette head which works well to show his alliegiance to Slaanesh. Any comments of questiosn are welcome. Hope you like.

Sowmir Throttle Grope is a name cursed by many. He is the supreme Sorcerer of the Slaaneshi army the Lustvipers. His knowledge of obscene rites is extensive and he is an accomplished in the art of Daemonic pacts and summoning. Sowmir is a extreme fanatic in the service of Slaanesh. He seeks to undo the morals of the whole world and bring civilisation together in pleasure, depravity and cannibalistic-peace serving Slaanesh. Sowmir relentlessly attacks the followers of the other Chaos gods and destroys the Daemons they worship. Many tribes despise and fear him in equal measure. In his view all deserve the endless pleasures and limitless experiences his god can offer, and all who would thwart this deserve to die.

Sowmir originally named Gitano Marcello was born in Tilea shortly after the great plague swept through the Empire. He is of noble blood and lived as one of the young noblemen in Pavona. His ability with magic manifested at an early age and he was schooled by the best wizards his family could hire. However his vast ego along with his intelligence led him to hide the real extent of his powers seek more and more influence in society. Even though he could admire the pursuit of pleasure in the nobility the ideas of loyalty and respect appalled him utterly. Power for it's own sake seemed worthless and restraint seemed a horrible weakness. Soon during his studies he learned of the Chaos gods and Slaanesh appealed to him in every way. All else became worthless in his eyes except the worship of Slaanesh. Now he had one purpose, to spread the cult of Slaanesh to all. Using his position he created a cult amount the nobles and murdered his father and brothers to gain control of his family.

With his now immense magical powers he secretly destroyed his rivals and seized control of the whole city. During his reign he used the poor as food, speed his master's cult far and wide, educated the simpletons of the world in pleasure worship and glutted himself on every experience he could find. His name Sowmir was gifted to him by Slaanesh, meaning "the ever gorging child". When he had the most expensive and luxurious palace ever seen in Tilea built he stated ' finally I can live like a human, not an animal '. It was a century later when his unnaturally long life resulted in the other city states driving him out. Since then Sowmir has lived in the Chaos wastes and refined his worship of Slaanesh to horrific extremes. Now with a Daemon's face, within the fortress of the Lustvipers Sowmir works to bring about the end of all the rules of civilisation and nature.

His deepest secrets however are only known by the most powerful of Slaaneshi Daemons. It is his comprehension of the fundamental wrongness that the existence of Slaanesh represents. This is not merely the knowledge of Slaanesh's unholy ways. It is the wisdom of how the violation of morals is little compared to the cosmic violation that the power of the Slaanesh is. How it's desire to undo all that is pure, noble and sacred is an extension of how the god violates the natural laws of the universe. With this ghastly wisdom Sowmir will teach his favoured acolytes and closest allies in the ways of how to truly abuse the fabric of reality and all the souls who dwell within and without. This knowledge of cosmic perversity is what makes him so deadly, able to corrupt and pervert even the most pure with only his words.

That manticore is very impressive, Leech. Love the color palette you have used and the kit bashing on the rider. They should compliment the rest of your Slaanesh forces well.

Thanks. It took some time to decide the correct colours for the Manticore. It was fun to stick together though. The Manticore's head can actually have any of the head parts used on it, not just the two variations that GW states in the instructions.

Next I'll hopefully have some Helstriders up and after that I'll try my Marauders.
