2k is what i usually play, but I actually prefer smaller ones. 500-1000 is usually pretty fun

I am playing 1500 point games atm, but I prefer shorter 1000 point games, because it really makes you think about the limited options you have.

1500 right now as we are getting used to 6th edition still. I prefer 1850 to 2000.

With how fast everything dies in this edition, I'm having great fun with 1850' to 2000. We even managed a 3000 point game with the new rules and it went smoothly. A lot smoother than 4th.

1500 because you have a decent size army but its a quicker game (and no 2 FOC shennanigans) then 2000. And 1850 is such a weird size, its really 1 unit away from being 2000.

I'm curious - does anyone find that your points level preference changes depending on your army? Where I am, 1750-1850 is the norm, but based on my armies, I prefer 2k.

WHen I play IG I want BIG armies, Necron, Chaos or SM 1500 is fine. Orks I like smaller around 1250-1500, probably cause I hate having a bunch of models.
