It would be nice to see the techmarine repair a full structure point! lol, that would be pretty crazy tho.

Well I think if you were down a Structure point and 3 hull points if you repaired a Hull point you would also repair a Structure point.

I understand that Turbo Lasers and Plasma Blastguns are the way to go. However I still run 2 duel Inferno Cannon Warhounds. Leave tank hunting to melta guns, burn the rest.

Yeah, that's why you take turbolasers, because they're awesome at killing infantry. You use the turbolasers to kill vehicles, and the turbolasers to kill infantry. Why would you ever use a cover-ignoring weapon with short range and only a 2+ to wound with AP 3 when you can have no cover, auto-wound, and AP 2?

Well the inferno gun does have a couple of good points. It can never miss it's target and it also hits far more models, hence my love for inferno/turbo titans. The turbo laser is probably better but in apocalypse it isn't always the mathematically best unit that wins.

The turbo-laser has 2 large blast templates so I think the surface area is equal or more. May not be as accurate, but it will kill what it hits. And 2+ armor is going to be common in Appoc.

Thats 2, 5" templates for the turbo laser.

Two 7" for the plasma blast gun. STR 8
OR One 10" STR 10

I think thats the numbers for it.

That and taking imotekh the stormlord. Seriously imotekh is so ridiculously cost efficient in apocalypse, to the point where everyone takes him as an ally and apoc games I play with often see stormlord facing down stormlord (they are almost always taken as an ally, since you need STR D weapons and necrons...). But ya, it doesn't matter how bad you are in CC if you wipe out the would be assaulting squad in your shooting phase. At 750pts that thing is a steal, plus apoc games tend to have units bunched up more than regular games do to space limitations thus blast weapons are even more effective.
