The great thing is that no one is actually offended by anything, people just rattling the cages because. And we all know it. Next someone ofcourse claims he is, but everyone can see that coming a thousand miles away.

Nah, you're wrong. The planet Bubonicus says hi. Just as plain a pun, a sickness a hundred times more serious than an STD ( The Bubonic Plague, responsible for most human deaths ever recorded ) and you're fine with it. Giving examples out of context doesn't really prove anything. I don't really care of your naming conventions, in fact as I said your theme would work if it would be done in a more subtle way - but even like this some of them are quite funny. But you just overuse it.

You say that you are mature and above everyone else and yet you get overzealous in defending your work - work you expected to cause this exact discussion. Perhaps you shouldn't have put the fluff into a P&M forum at all.

In other news, Cultists should be done by tomorrow. With this style of painting it's possible to get 20 of them painted a day, which is pretty nice considering when I expand my army I think there's gonna be a lot of Plague Zombies to march with Typhus.

If you're going for Plague Zombies, you should check out the Zombies!!! Bag o' Zombies. 100 28mm Zombies for roughly £7-9. Just need bases

I don't feel above anyone else, nor have I said so. I don't defend my "work" just set straight or ignore people who are factually wrong. And I do feel very mature indeed seeing how people react to something as light as this. I wonder if we could make it an ever bigger of a deal. Neither did I expect a "conversation" like this. Because it is a joke of the internet meme "see forum posting rules]-stole-my-bike" target="_new" rel="nofollow">N-word stole my bike" which is based upon Mike Tyson's punch out where the scene where little mac is jogging with his coach looks like an angry black man riding a bike being chased by a little white guy on foot. The internet then turned it into a gag and the music is known for that.

So the jokes about bike stealing are based upon a racist internet meme... And the 'Templa' is trying to be a funny slang version of 'templar' to replace the obvious abbreviated' version of the N-word used in a jokey way.

Some may find it hilarious, some may find it childish and some may find it not funny as it is basically racist humor at the core that makes no sense as a joke unless you know the original source.

Great paint job, but I've never found racist jokes to be funny, partly because I'm mixed race (half black and half white).
I had alot of racist crap to deal with whilst growing up.

I think I will be adding some rust to all the cultists after I finish the last batch, so they will look in line with the more mechanized members of the STD ( who in turn, would look way too clean without rust and battledamage being a part of Deathguard. )

Whole bunch finished, added some rust and blood spatters to some of their clothes and weaponry:



Next I think I'll be painting the Forgefiend.
