It may be physically larger however it is also just allot of empty space and is a far less complicated model than many other tanks out there. It is funny you mention the Bastion conversion because I've been discussing the possibility if GW reclassifying the Monolith as a Fortification in a later edition.

yes, we needed another one of these threads...

there is a lot that goes into pricing this stuff. plastic is a petroleum-based product, gas prices go up, so does plastic. its called a market economy. also, someone's paid to not only design the finished product, but how the product will be made into small, easily assembled pieces, its called in industrial designer. then someone has to crate the molds to make these parts.

stop crying about the price of your hobby, get a job, and move on. no one whines about the price of a Ferrari...
