Maybe the people who call them "Mary Sue Marines" are on to something.

Star Trek taught me so much. Like, how you should accept people, whether they be black, white, Klingon or even female...

Yay! Heresy!

Mine were corrupted by Slaneesh and sex-changed by the warp. Legion 63; the Linetraps.

I notice my posts seem to bring threads to a screeching halt. Considering the content of most threads on dakka, you're welcome.

This sums it pretty much up.

Ehh.. the problem with this is that 40k power armors are form fitted. Seriously, look at any of the 'canon' cut away drawings of a 40k power armor suit. The armor is only about two to thee inches thick on a SM and the interior is almost skin tight. So, yes, if there were such a thing as a FSM they would be noticeably different, but not overwhelmingly so.

Mark VI Corvus pattern armor in Morrigna colors.

The armor would be proportionately slightly shorter and have different proportions in different areas. Unless your chapter has some Blood Angels style iconography, you're probably not going to see 'breast plate', though again torso proportions will be slightly different to accommodate the differences in physiology.

As far as bits go, http://battlesuits.blogspot.co.uk/ might get your attention, but I have not heard anything from there in a while..

I think the point is not that the armor wouldn't be more or less form fitting, it's that the female Space Marines wouldn't be female formed. They'd just be huge defensive lineman looking women, lol.

Marneus Calgar is referred to as "one of the Imperium's greatest tacticians" and he treats the Codex like it's the War Bible. If the Codex is garbage, then how bad is everyone else?

All fluff reasons for femme space marines not to exist aside, that is a damn fine looking mini, Seb.

Someone beat me to Libby, but Hasslefree makes a bunch of female sci fi minis. Khyli would be another option, maybe pre-promotion: http://www.hfminis.co.uk/shop?product=khyli~hfg204&category=miniatures~grymn-light-infantry

So Doctor Thunder works for Hitech minis now? Because the Black Widows and that spider web were his chapter.

The problem with that is scale. I have Khyli, I use her as a ratling in my IG force.
