The Sisters of Silence was to my knowledge not super-powered beings. They were just a band of Alizebeth Bequins. And they were always few in number, plus from what I read they seem more likeable to fan out across the Galaxy to look for psykers than to fight as one coordinated army. It's seems like psykers, mundanes and blanks is a rock, paper, scissor-thingy but I can be wrong of course.

As for the first point Blunty. I pointed out it was there. I didn't speculate about the wisdom in taking the weapon.

The sisters of silence were used on mass during the assault on prospero against the thousand sons. By their very definition sisters of silence are 'superpowered' just not in the strength department.

I guess it could be plausible, you've got ultramar and all that.

Ultramar cannot be used as an example, Ultramar exists as an exection to the general rule, due to the fact that the Ultramarines are the most widely acclaimed first founding chapter with alot of political clout, no other chapter, escpecially a new founding would be able to have such an empire.

I guess, maybe on a smaller scale though? Like maybe a couple planets
Badab was several planets. So, yes, that seems to be a pretty fair assumption. Everything in a given solar system would belong to that Chapter.

Marneus Calgar is referred to as "one of the Imperium's greatest tacticians" and he treats the Codex like it's the War Bible. If the Codex is garbage, then how bad is everyone else?

Wrong blunty they were basically given to a squad to provide psychic shields to the Space Wolves and the Custodians. That's not deployed enmasse. That's deployed as support. Of course I'm not denying they were well-trained professional warriors, but their value wasn't in their firepower or their proficiency with weapons. No sir, their value was negating the foul sorcery of the Thousand Sons.

For me they are at best a couple of thousand Alizebeth Bequins, and in my interpretation of the blanks, it's a human being you basically wanna punch unless you are very willful or tolerant. Of course other people have less extreme interpretations of that, and I accept that. But I maintain my belief that if you want to exploit the power of a blank without the bad things, being despised by everyone and such, I think it's better to have a null-rod or blank-powered weapon. Of course you are free to disagree with me as you see fit blunty.

But that isn't using a blank its using a peice of equipment, they are completely different things.
