On the topic of storm boyz, I love em. I usually run a maxed out squad in all my games over 1500. I may drop them down a bit in smaller games or substitute bikes. I mostly run them with zagstruck deepstriking but have had good effect with a regular nob too as long as they don't deep strike. Nothing says you have to deep strike them and with the extra mobility afforded by their jump packs you can leave them off first turn and move them on from your deployment zone speeding across the board.

One thought, Blood axes. With the extra squads of grots you could run the extra 20 or so boyz as a 1 boy squad of 15 commandos, snikrot makes them nasty allowing you to come in your opponents board edge and glance a av 10 rear armor to death with shooting, big shootas makes this much more effective. Your opponent will be forced to either: run away from them, focus fire to kill them (thus not shooting the rest of your army), or get stuck in a likely protracted assault. Which is especially usefull against long fang SW and TAU.

I haven't had good effect with lootas unless they are in a battlewagon. They are high priority and will usually get shot to pieces (in effective number at least) in the opening turns.
Throwing them behind a defense line with a icarus LC will help and provide more needed anti flyer. Drop podding marines with flamers (and demon Flamers) are their bane.

At higher points bringing Grazgul with the meganobs is good, The mega nobs are troops and can hold an objective with Graz taking all the ap 1-2 shots, but i like to bring mad doc grotsnik for the bionics and FNP. In my opinion your next purchase should be the mad doc, I have done miraculous things with him in my army but frequently don't take him now simply because he's been so effective. THink about this.... 30 boyz 5++ and a 5++FNP.

Remember these two things:
1. Always take a nob w/ power klaw and bosspole to lead any boy squad.
2. Boyz before toyz, make sure you have plenty of ork boys before you even think about some big guns.

Deffkoptas are nice AT units if you give them rokkits, combine them with lootas for a nice amount of scary long ranged firepower.

Ghaz and Wierdboys make fun HQs, Ghaz is great fun if you want to have him lead the meganobz inside of a trukk to fly at the enemy. Wierdboys are nice if you have a Dakkajet or 3, but if not he is great in a shootamob due to his teleporting that will bring a horde amongst the enemy ranks.
