Very cool stuff Interesting paint scheme - are you using an oil wash over the white armour? Do tell!

Keep up the good work - don't see many Blight Drones around here and it's nicely done too.

Thanks for the compliments! It's just Agrax Earthshade thinned down

I'd love to have several titans but they are damn expensive may you give us a clue?

They are just a tad expensive for my budget

Looking good, just needs some basing

Great looking minis I like your choice of colors alot. To do something different than 'convention'. I'm trying out something different with my Dark Angels as well (link in sig). What are you going to do for the bases?

Also I like to follow blogs that start like this: 'So far, I haven't really chosen models due to their play-ability so to speak, mainly what I thought looked cool'

The rule of cool

Keep it up.

More orks and Dark Angels in the P&M section. Feel free to leave a comment, trash it, cheer me up, lurk or : http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/423220.page#3790852

Thanks for the comments! I never did like the lack of morbidity attitude-wise in a lot of the Nurgle stuff - this is my attempt to bring the fear back into death!

For the bases I'm going to aim for something neutral, like grey city-ruins. I don't want to risk the base putting-off the greens and purples.

Your Dark Angels are looking really good, I'll make sure to follow them from now on

I've not looked into textured paints, do they work well?

Thanks everyone!

Yeah they are great! Paint them onto the base, give them a wash then a drybrush and its all done. Very usefull. Now I only have to break out the PVA to stick the grass on I'm using a grey style on my bases (check them out in the blog)
Astrogranite, washed with Nuln Oil then dry-brushed Long Beard Grey. Simple and effective I recommend you look into those texture paints.

I just got the mud one to try, which will match the WW1 aesthetics of the FW Death Guard.

Nice job! I love your colour scheme, the glowing green looks great with the purple. The dirty white armour looks great too.

I'm also new to the hobby and working on a mix of chaos space marines and chaos daemons, but mine are Slaanesh themed.

I have a disheartening announcement...

My small, evil, 1 year old cousin has smashed (there is no other word ) my Chaos Lord into a million pieces.

I hate children.

This may set me back a while... Just what I need a week before a tournament.

I demand you sacrifice him to the Dark Powers!!!! : Theres still time if he's the only thing left to do, or is there more to do?

(I also despise children )

Don't tempt me...

There's him, 3 more Plague marines and 3 more Plaguebearers.

I've managed to re-pose him, albeit not as nice as before, I'll just need to repaint him.

I'm not sure why it was in the child's reach. Seems adults should take the responsibility here, threatening 1 year olds is t going to fix it or prevent it from happening again. I have two young ones, and they've never gotten their hands on my models.

Well, first off, we have no small children in my house normally, my sister was babysitting him for our aunt. So naturally, when I go to the bathroom I don't expect a small child to be pulling things off of my desk.
