Hey everyone!

First off, thanks for checking out my blog and taking the time to look over my work, it really means a lot. I just recently got into this hobby - at the dawn of 6th edition and Chaos automatically caught my eye. The new codex only helped spur my desire to play the race and now, my forces are steadily building up. So far, I haven't really chosen models due to their play-ability so to speak, mainly what I thought looked cool. This has led to a couple of squads that I've seen being called "useless/not competitive" and so, it's going to be my job to make them competitive!

So without further ado, I'd like to show you my two HQs. The Chaos Lord, Marluxia and the Herald of Nurgle, Rubellas.

I'm hoping to get more up soon, but between work and school it's definately not going to be scheduled

Stay tuned!

Nice work, good color schemes. I really like the feel of these guys so far, very creepy and captures the 40k art work very nicely.

Can't wait to see the whole army.

Thanks a lot, I wasn't sure about the Herald of Nurgle's purple scheme. I thought that while it was dark and particularly menacing, it didn't quite tie in with the Lord.

Nicely done. I really like the color scheme. The purple skin is nice. The pics are kinda' fuzzy though to get a better view. Still nice though.

Yeah, the pics are being taken by my phone and because of work, and the fine British weather, daylight is hard to come by

Thanks for the comments

Thanks, I tried to go for something which was much more creepy and demon-like rather than the more green and comical aspect of GW's Nurglitch models.

Stay tuned guys!

I love the paint schemes on both, the PM scheme is very similar to my own. I can't get over the Herald, the scheme is great! I love to paint pinks and purples into my PM, when I branch out into demons I think I'll take influence from yours!

"Orkses never lost a battle. If we win we win, if we die we die fighting so it don't count. If we runs for it we don't die neither, cos we can come back for annuver go, see!"

I dig how in a setting where giant, muscled fungus men ride Mad Max cars and use their own teeth as currency, the concept of little engineering dudes with beards was considered a step too far down the aisle of silliness.

Wow, thanks for the compliments it means a lot!

I really like the look of your Thousand Sons btw, the yellow-gold really helps bring out the red!

Thanks! The white is supposed to be ironic; representing purity and the oil/dirt stains show their dedication to Nurgle (that, combined with their many gaping wounds! )

Just a quick question. How is the quality of the cast? I'll be getting a decent sized bit of FW and I won't get it if it's poor casting.

So far, I've had no problems with Forge World resin; the blight drone was very easy to put together and the hardest part of the whole build was removing the front half of the main body from the resin sprue due to the inward curve.

Good god that thing is nasty looking. Are you going with the white scheme on that too? I'm liking the plague marines, they almost look like they're melting a little from plague. Ew!

All will be revealed tomorrow my good sir

Thanks, I'm going for a "The Purge"-esque feel with the power armour to seem like leaking oil.

What can I say, I got bored? Thanks, I've got another plague marine to put up today and then I have a couple of possessed to show you all...

Thanks, I've always preffered the idea of purple for a Nurgle army. I think green has become far too cliché! Those ask shall receive!

Very cool stuff Interesting paint scheme - are you using an oil wash over the white armour? Do tell!

Keep up the good work - don't see many Blight Drones around here and it's nicely done too.
