Not yet. The problem, strangely enough, is cost. I can find 10 points to make them all vanquishers, but I'm not going to be able to find 30 points to make them eradicators.

Because I don't have the money to buy a Guard army (especially considering the amount of cash I'm dropping on my Sternguard at the moment; I love those guys like you love Guard blobs) but you keep making me want to.
In All honesty, Reading the battle reports from Ailaros is one of the main reasons why I'm starting a guard army. Even though his dice seems to bite him most of the time, it seems like a really fun army to play...

Wow. never thought you'd run a tank heavy list anytime soon. Isn't that AV 14 just amazing?

Well, to be fair, it's not like it's the first time I've run russes. Like half the games I've played (if not more) have had at least one.
As for the future of russes...
I'm actually a little behind on my battle reports at the moment, there is a 5-vanquisher list coming soon...

Best of luck with that, mate! The vanquisher has never treated me well. It's a good thing the conversion is easy, if you don't like 'em you can always change 'em back to the LRBT, or whatever model suits your fancy.
Also: When are we going to see some of those orks in a batrep?

I wish I had this disposable income Ailaros seems to have. I am kicking around my mec IG/ GK list (which I really enjoy, but is in serious need of more grey knights and chimeras), but I would LOVE running that many leman russes.
Anyway, keep up the good work. I do miss the banter from the priest. Maybe he is in the command tents now?

Hah, I'll let you in on a secret. One of those russes came from a friend. He'd bought it, but hadn't gotten around to even opening the box yet. I was able to trade him a bunch of random guard stuff for it. The second one I bought as normal. The third I bought at a discount from ebay, and they sent me TWO of them instead of one. I emailed them about it, and they said keep it. The fifth one I just purchased. As such, there's a bit less disposable income than you might think going on here. Something like $140 for what will be a sufficiently comprehensive russ collection that I'm not that terribly likely to ever need more.
As for the orks, they're rather on hold at the moment, what with the russes. After that I do have a bit more guard stuff to work on before I can get back to my bikes.
As for the banter, I'm thinking of striking up something with my Pask stand in. We'll have to see.
As for the vanquishers, they're my current experiment. Everything is swappable, including the main cannons. The sponson-on tank has already been set up as an exterminator and as an eradicator. When all you've got to do is paint up a new main cannon, that makes the barrier to changing russ types pretty low.
