This would work great with DA Devastators. Or, even a 5 man tac squad as they can take one heavy weapon.

Yeah but in a normal game that isn't really necessary is it?
No, I think it's rather pointless at 2K, but if you really wanted a quad gun and an Icarus lascannon, it is within the confines of the ruleset.

I find that if you are plopping telion behind an adl the quad wont do the trick for sniping things but the Icarus will as its s9 and ap 2 so your sniping hqs and special stuff without an invul almost every time
