The humour is pretty good in the game but if the problems you've described to me are really a deal breaker you may not enjoy it unless you confine yourself to certain guns...

Played Gears of War for the first time ever yesterday with the wife. It.....is incredible.

That's good. And it's meant to be played 2 player. It's a tale of manly bromance.

lol yea it is. We've already joked about me sleeping with Marcus (as the wife is playing as Marcus) and I keep laughing at the fact that these characters look like shaved Gorillas. The art style is really cool though outside of that funny.


Side note, the meat shields (like Carmine and such) the guys with the full armor and helmets? Is there anyway I can play as one of those guys? Because I think they look 10x cooler then Dom and Marcus.

Ya, Carmine's my fav. You can use him in multiplayer.

Ahh. I might have to see if thats still a thing then. Im trying to convince the Giant to buy this game, so we can hang out and play online. I will certainly call dobs on that guy though. fething awesome character design

The second has horde which is a online co op type mode where you can choose who you play as.

By the third there are about 6 helmeted guys, and more modes.

I don't think it's that big of spoiler because Carmine mentions he has a brother but there will be another Carmine in the second.

Hmmm, I think they gipped you on that "triple pack". Triple pack sounds like the whole trilogy but I think instead of the 3rd game you just got some multiplayer maps....

No they didnt gip anything. Its 1, 2 and expansions for the 2nd game. Not to mention it was pretty cheap. So no problems there that I see

Well, I beat Gears of War for the first time today. It was such a cool game. Cant wait to start the second one. My only real complaint, is it felt a little short
