I support Griddlelol's position. Against a good player, mobility alone is not enough. They will either a) have their own mobility or b) move in such a manner to negate your mobility.

60 ASM jump lists have little ranged firepower. They can not deny enemy mobility via transports, nor can they engage superior HTH foes at range. Nor can they trim down hordes with blast weapons.

Well, most of my games are against Orks, so assault marines tend to get wiped out too quickly... But I will add more of them for use against other srmies thanks (plus it means i can paint yellow helmets!).

I like the idea of a vindicator... but I think I'll still try out the vindicator. hell, I've already got a Dark Angels army, so I might take them as a detachment for the cheaper Whirlwind ;p

Are sniper scouts worth taking? A lot of BA armies I see, seem to take units of ten to sit on the back line?
