CSM can rock the FMCs too. And Chaos demons. Both very good lists.

For some reason there aren't any Deamons, either. CSM, around here anyway, are keeping clear of the pricey Princes. Hellturkeys, yes; DP, not so much.

Nobody at my FLGS actually plays Tyranids, so FMCs, fortunately, are a non-issue for me until I have a chance to hit the tournaments around here.

As far as 36" being a detriment, maybe I've just been rolling hammer and anvil a lot lately, but it seems like 36" guns that aren't effective on the move never have anything to shoot at.

Ah I see. I come across a couple of 'nid players, 2 chaos players and one demon player, so I have to think about such things. For my IG FMCs are laughable, but my wolves struggle with anything airborne.

Getting into CC with a TH-SS Lone Wolf as an MC is scary (yes I use TH since that initiative loss is rather useful), so I try my best to knock 'em down, shoot 'em up and charge with a LW. It works sometimes, but it's difficult to be in the right place at the right time. Not really sure what else I can do against FMCs. Vendettas don't scare me too much, since they probably won't kill more than 10 or so marines per game if there's 2 or 3, and my Vindi can hide from them pretty well.

After playing so much guard then switching to Wolves for a break, my lack of range on scoring units is what's getting me the most, plus the FAQ with weapon range limitations has hurt GHs some what. Once I have my new tanks finished, I'll be back on guard though.

Star Trek taught me so much. Like, how you should accept people, whether they be black, white, Klingon or even female...
