I think there is a misunderstanding of the allies matrix. They are not necessarily trusted it is more you understand them well enough to know if you can trust them.

The dark Eldar may be "evil" by CWE standards however they are entirely understandable by Eldar standards. In fact the CWE actually secretly want to do all those crazy stuff but they keep those impulses in check.

Not to mention that they are brothers in the literal sense that some of the CWE are literal brothers and sisters to their fallen siblings and vice versa. This point has been made but should be reinstated that there is social mobility between these groups and it is a socially accepted thing where there is a social mechanism for an individual to go back and forth between both groups.

En Excelsios I think you are forgetting that we are not talking three human groups. We are talking two "human" groups being accosted by insects and rabid dogs.
