Didn't get as much done as I wanted to tonight.

I did get all 40 zombies and 5 Renegade Ogryns primed.

Also I continued with detailing the oblits, PMs, and Typhus with rust and a few minor highlights. I intend to do glowing eyes with an effect on the eyes of both the zombies and PM's.

Typhus here has additional detailing work to be done, I think I am going to do a sickly olive wash for the nurglings, a purple/pink for the insides, and the pustules and hive nodes with be plague brown to yellow.

I am pretty happy with the Oblits, but I would like a glowing eye effect here too.

What can I say? I am so pleased with the zombie's look that I want to get the other 39 to this point tomorrow, but I will see how that works out.

Plague Marines with get some individualized detailing based on the model, but I want all to have glowing eye effect too.

40 Zombies and 5 Renegade Ogryns got based and highlighted. I hope to get them washed and sponged tonight.

Below they are highlighted.

I'm also doing some green stuff decorations to some of the RT era Rhino's I intend to use with this army. I'm not very experienced with this, but I am having fun doing it!

You are cruising right along!

"Orkses never lost a battle. If we win we win, if we die we die fighting so it don't count. If we runs for it we don't die neither, cos we can come back for annuver go, see!"

I dig how in a setting where giant, muscled fungus men ride Mad Max cars and use their own teeth as currency, the concept of little engineering dudes with beards was considered a step too far down the aisle of silliness.

Not much of an update, but I managed to get enough models based to play in a 1850 tomorrow. Would like to have gotten more done, but c'est la vie.

I couldn't get a decent quality photo though, sorry about that.

Nice I don't even want to think about how much money this cost other than the insane amount of models though this looks to be shaping up awesomely

Thanks Goliath! GW does cost an arm, leg, first born.... :/

I guess I shouldn't be too disappointed in what I've gotten done so far, it's only been 8 days since any one of the models in the last photos first got paint... and there are 81 of them in the shot + the wall & gun.

I tied for first place in the tournament I played on Saturday. One reason I didn't win was because many of my models were only base coated.

Typhus is a complete bad ass when you can reliably get him into combat on turn two.

I really like this army and how it plays, I haven't run a vehicle yet other than flyers.

Chillin today not getting much done, but here is what I worked on this afternoon. I cannot wait to paint them, I may give in yet and start them tonight.

The cabling came from dragon forge designs, the delicate resin bits weren't going to last so I found these and I think they are fantastic. Dragon forge had great customer service as well.

Forum necromancy seem appropriate for a thread about Typhus, no?

After a year long hiatus from 40k (well, mostly) I have renewed work on this army. I have a 1500 point team tournament on Saturday and my buddy Lord Krungharr is bringing the Daemon filth for a mono Nurgle 3k force.

Below are a few teasers of where I got to this weekend. More to come, I want to get as far along as possible because my partner's minis are spectacular.

Sorry for the poor photo quality, I hope to get better shots as I progress further.

This army is looking so damn nice!
Actually, looking at your nurgle zombies made me purchase 60 of the mantic ones for myself to, even thought my chaos army is essentually a world eater warband. Really love your work, so keep it up!!

Thanks boss! I love the zombies!

Plague Marines got worked on tonight. 10 man squad on foot, a seriously tough unit.

Looking good I have a mono nurgle force which is meant to be a break from edge high lighting and looks ok. This is totally different in look from mine though.

Your zombies are so cool though and the blight drones are the best

I didn't have a lot of time last night, but I did detail the Zombies a bit more... got the eyes started, they still need skin highlighting hair color.

I just washed the rust on the Ogryn/Spawn.

the havocs are up next! They have been gloss varnished in prep for the airbrush wash and alcohol sponge off. I am really excited to get these guys up to playable standards! I love the FW legion autocannons.

Then last, but no least is the ADL. All the metal needs to be covered in silver to be rusted later. I'm going to do the mangled part of the wall as a fungal growth with sickly yellows and mabe highlighted with dead flesh.

After all that, it's just as much detail work as I can get done and also getting all the bases painted black and some pigment washed into the rocks on the bases.

I just snapped the photos with my phone this morning on my way out the door, so I apologize if they aren't very good.

I did get a 1500 point portion of my army finished for the tournament. Below is a pic of it combined with Lord Krungharr's Nurgle daemons, my team tournament partner.

Maybe this weekend I will do some better close up shots.
