Well, in terms of Eldar, the new codex may provide a list of powers that needs to be randomly rolled as in the codices of DA, CSM, and CD.
This meany you may not guarantee that the Council can be fortuned. An unfortuned Council is dead ...

A better choice is a unit of Nob Bikers led by a Warboss on bike. Expensive but less reliable on luck.

Eldar: Definitely, but we aren't there yet and shouldn't be till ~Fall. But I'll gladly trade out the Super Council for a balanced Codex that lets me bring Stormwind!

Orks: That was an oversight, I meant to say Nob Bikers, the only way I run 'em =P

Here's one from new Daemon book.

Herald of tzeentch with conjuration, mastery level 3
Herald of tzeentch
20 Horrors.

8D6 S6 ap4 shots with a re roll to hit. half being bs3 the other half being bs4

Not impossible to kill, but its cheap at 345pts.

Rick Priestley said it best:
Bryan always said that if the studio ever had to mix with the manufacturing and sales part of the business it would destroy the studio. And I have to say – he wasn’t wrong there! The modern studio isn’t a studio in the same way; it isn’t a collection of artists and creatives sharing ideas and driving each other on. It’s become the promotions department of a toy company – things move on!

You're better off taking only 3D6 shots with the Herald and using the 3rd Warp charge for Prescience in all honesty...

But then this unit will fall flat against anyone with a Rune Priest/Runes of Warding/GK's.

Dark Angels:

Librarian on a Bike and hope for FOREWARNING or MISFORTUNE

10 Black Knights

11 S4 Attacks at I 10

3 S4 AP2 attacks
40 S5 Rending Attacks

Misfortune they reroll saves...
Forewarning you get 4++ Saves.

T5 is going to make hurting you hard.
Grenade Launchers are going to make opponent -1 Toughness

If you really want to make it a killer. Add a Chaplain on a Bike and reroll misses... LOL

40 attacks, 20 hits (30 with chappie), 14 (20) wounds of which 2 or 3 (4) are rending. Then 5 blow their saives... 8 with MISFORTUNE die.

All that and we haven't even shot the 7 TL Plasma shots....

This isn't very deathstar-y. No invuln saves in close combat. Prescience isn't as good as Invisibilty.

The real Dark Angels Deathstar:

Azrael (Take FNP or Furious Charge as needed, place on corner to soak Baleflamer hits)
Librarian on Bike (Roll Telepathy for Invisibility, take Shriek and whatever you get), Mace of Redemption, Porta-Rack
Techmarine on bike, servo harness (hidden power fist attacks, soak Baleflamer hits)

10 Black Knights, 3x Grenade Launchers

Allies
Sevrin Loth (2+ Invulnerable, 6 Powers from Biomancy)

This is the Deathstar to end all Deathstars.
Sevrin rolling Biomancy gets six powers, so the odds of getting Enfeeble and Haemorrage are quite high.

Necron Royal Wraith Court? Rad Grenade+Enfeeble. Insta-death the lords with rapid fire plasma and laugh as Wraiths pop from Haemorrage rolling toughness 2.
Dark Eldar Beastpack/ Harliestar with Eldrad: Slightly a tougher customer, but you can just rad-grenade and insta-death the toughness 2 squishies, with Null Zone in play.
Jetbike Seer Council: Rad-grenade and Null Zone, plus you can annihilate them in close combat.
Paladinstar: Don't make me laugh. Toughness 2 Paladins, lol...

Darkshroud means your unit has a 3+ cover save moving, and Azreal gives the 4++ and FNP (or Biomancy).
Azrael and the Techmarine can soak Baleflamer template wounds if correctly positioned.
Enfeeble + Stasis means anything that fights you will be -1 Str, -1 Ws and -1 Initiative. Librarian can go Invis to make this unit Stealth Shrouded and enemies WS 1 in cc, or roll Divination for pre.
Sevrin can switch to Iron Arm/Warp Speed to punch face and tank nasties in challenges with his 2+ Invuln save.
Porta-Rack allows you to get Hatred for everything after killing the first champ/chump in close combat.

Unit has majority toughness 5, and can rapid-fire 14 plasma talon + 3 grenade launcher shots.
Conga-lining the bikes into close combat is easy with the new movement rules, and then the unit can hit-and-run to cover distance and multi-charge.

Come at me bros!

Basically Court Lords with Gauntlets of Fire and Mindshackle Scarabs backed up by a Harbinger of the Storm with a Lightning Field and a bunch of Harbingers of Despair.

That gives you an Overwatch of 5d3 S4AP5 hits, 4d3S8vLDAP1 hits, 4S8AP- snapfires and d6S8AP5 hits.
huh, while not your traditional RCDI, it certainly has merit.

Normally a RCDI tends to consist of-
5 Lords (the works: Warscythes, MSSs, Weaves, Shifters, T.Labs, + 1 or 2 ResOrbs)
5 Harbingers (one of each flavor, with respective wargear)
1 or 2 ICs (or 3, if both Obyron and Zahndrekh are on board!)

this gives you an insane number of AP1 attacks at i2 (potentially at S8 on the charge as well, if Zahndrekh gives them FC), an entire front row which can potentially negate opponent CC attacks with 5 or 6 MSSs, 5 or 6 instant no-inv-saves-allowed Pokeballs, and a majority T5, 2+, 3++, 4+ RP.
add to that all the shenanigans Harbinger wargear brings with it, and you have pure concentrated ridiculousness.

I have seen this deathstar steamroll its way through Orks, IG, DA and GK.
It is hilarious to see work, but you never want to take it against the same opponent twice.

Can somebody please help this poor man, he won't believe me? Jet pack and Jump pack are different and you really can't be one of them while being the other since their rules contradict. Suits are jet pack infantry and I hope they stay that way.

It's actually tougher if you take the Swarmlord with just one tyrant guard, and attach a tyranid prime.

With four psychic power rolls on Biomancy, you have a reasonable chance of rolling Iron Arm. Since you have three different toughness values within the unit, (5, 6, and 6+D3), you get to use the highest.
You also have three different WS values (5, 6, and 9), so enemies have to roll against the Swarmlords WS9 all the time.

If you take more than one tyrant guard, then you're stuck using T6 and WS5.
